Fit was too tight. Very uncomfortable

no arch support. Not for those who needs "good" support/fitting shoes.

Fit, size, all good. Love the new white Zans....but, washed them w/mild detergent & soft brush, they looked great wet, but after drying they have ugly brown/yellowish stains as if some material from the inside has bled through. Please tell me there is a way to cure this.

Bought these for my son, who walks a lot. Arrived in November, by March there was a hole in the side. Maybe they'd last longer if they weren't worn every day. They look and fit fine but not impressed with their wearability.

When I put the vans on they seemed to fit but they gave me an awful heel blister so I have not been able to wear them. I have not gotten Vans before but I thought they were very attractive with the change of season. Anyway I cannot wear them and not sure if I can return them because I wore them once. thanks, Leslie

I’ve been wearing Vans old schools and classics for at least 15 years. I have always been a size 12. Vans must’ve changed something because these shoes are too tight in the toe box and seem to be at least 1/2 a size smaller than they used to be.

Fit was fine but shoes are defective. I bought these shoes for my husband to wear on our wedding day in December. There’s something in the shoe that pokes up and is very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it is too late to return the shoes. I just want everyone to be sure to check them out right away when they buy them. I’m very disappointed and don’t foresee the issue ever being resolved. You can see the shadow of the object just above the vans logo, to the left.

These shoes fell apart after 2 months of wear. Very disappointed.

They look good, but this has to be the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. Laced tight and my heels are still slipping. Considering dropping a half size, but then I can't use the inserts I got because the ones it comes with are not removable (contrary to the claim from a Vans representative on this page).

I have bought many of this exact item and never had a problem. This pair had bad fit and a very rough inside that gave me blisters... I think they are cheaping out the quality. Too bad.

I love the look of this shoe. It is stylish, and can be worn with both casual and formal wear. These even look great with a suit! The shoe is also very comfortable and lightweight. My only criticism is that they don't hold up well. I ordered two pairs of these shoes in May, it's now September and one pair already has a hole in the toe, and the other (which I only started wearing within the last 3 weeks) is starting to show some wear in the toe area. I am not terribly hard on my shoes, so this is disappointing. These are great if you can wear them sparingly.

I should have returned these but I kept thinking they are so popular. They have no arch support, the inside stitching irritates and they are flimsy. If you are one of the herd, go ahead and get these, if you zig when everybody else zags, look elsewhere, these are poorly made shoes.

Beware - despite the name, these shoes are NOT white, they are cream color. Hence my 2 star rating. Other than the color naming mistake, they are the usual very cool Vans.

Mind your quality control, Vans...c'mon!!!! I tried to make this shoe work for me, but alas, it did not. Each pair is different. Actually, each shoe is different. With the first pair I got, each shoe was a different color. And not in a good way. Tried for another pair and they were sold out. Then I ordered a different color altogether. One of these shoes was really tight across the ball of the foot. (I do have wider feet but not wide enough to get a wide, usually) The one that fit across the ball of the foot was too high along the heel. That back part came up high and rubbed my achilles tendon like mad. That is, on one shoe. The other shoe was fine. I set them next to each other, and one shoe was about 1/3 inch higher in back than the other. That might not sound like a lot, but when the entire heel of the shoe is only 2 1/2 to 3 inches high, it is. Not to mention that it felt terrible. Zappos really earned points for being exemplary about the returns. They rock. Wish I could say the same about Vans. Converse used to make this type of shoe, and I wore them for years- never had a problem. Now Converse has only the slip ons, so I thought I'd give Vans a try; what a disappointment! I actually ended up with a pair of PF Flyers, and they are the most comfortable of the whole bunch! And the quality is great! Plus, you gotta love that retro "Posture Wedge"!

Paper thin - I am very disappointed in the quality of this shoe. They are paper thin and are not the Vans quality I am used to. If it wasn't such a pain to return items these shoes would be out of my house.

Consider buying a half a size up from your normal length - I love the way this Core Classics series looks! Normally I take a size 12 in a tennis shoe such as this. Unfortunately, this particular series (now made in China) is about a half an inch shorter in length when I hold it up to my other size 12 tennis shoes. More importantly, it FEELS shorter. Very uncomfortable to wear, and did NOT stretch after use. DISAPPOINTING.
