Wolky Nimes are a fashionable, super cute, comfortable addition to my foot attire. They are well made and ready for walking trips, fairs, local striding with no heel or toe blisters in sight. They are worth ever penny and they last a lifetime. Pay attention to the Zappos sizing chart. I am an 8½ and I got a 40 as recommended. I generally take a 39 Euro but with Wolky the 40 is a better fit for this 8½.

Love at first step - I own 3 pairs of Nimes and have never had a moment's trouble with any. I had surgery on each foot to construct an arch (my feet are more than just flat) and these shoes allow me to look dressed up and don't require any arch supports. Only Birkenstocks match that with my feet but they are not feminine for dress wear. I recently purchased the Wolky Passion and have had more compliments on this shoe. (Maybe it’s the beautiful red color.) All these shoes allow me to walk pain-free all day. I recommend them to anyone with foot problems. They are worth every penny I have spent on them. I thank the sales person in the Birkenstock store for steering to my first pair of Woky Nimes.

Love these shoes, I wear them all summer long and walk for hours without pain. I have had to replace the buckles though -- definitely their weak spot - still, the rest of the shoe has held up to a lot of walking.

Excellent quality, wonderful comfort. I bought my first Wolky sandals four years ago on clearance and later swore that they were they only shoes I have that would have been worth full price. I bought my second pair -- Nimes in brown/black -- last year at full price. I often have a hard time finding shoes that fit well (and don't look like granny shoes), but the velcro straps let me adjust the fit to my foot and the cushioning in the insole is superb. Both pairs still look great and are worn as often as possible. I frequently get compliments, "Cute shoes. They look comfortable." I am a librarian and, well, we're known for appreciating sensible shoes.

Supreme comfort, high quality. These are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I'm buying a second pair in brown leather and plan on wearing them even in the winter with socks!

Comfort right out of the box . Thanks Zappos.com -- I LOVE wearing my Nimes every day. They are so well made, comfortable right out of the box and completely support my feet and reduce my lower back pain. These shoes are amazing.

The world's most supportive sandal. My podiatrist recommended Wolkys to me for my tired feet and heel pain. Also my 2 daughters own several pairs of Wolkys and have highly recommended them. I bought my first pair of Nimes 3 years ago and they are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever worn. I now have 3 pairs of Nimes and 2 other shoe styles from Wolky. I also wear a pair of Mephistos, Danskos and Birkenstocks. My Wolkys are the best and I never have any heel and back pain. They are simply the best.

The Nimes is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I had been wearing them for over a year when I fell and broke my ankle in several places. 3 1/2 months later, when I could put a shoe on part time, my Nimes were the perfect shoe for the job. Not only are they VERY comfortable but when my foot swells after I have my leg down a while - all I have to do is loosen the velcro straps on my left shoe and I can still wear shoes. Thank you Wolky for making a shoe that is comfortable, attractive and very adaptable.

A great shoe, but after a long day my whole body feels tired. I have fibromyalgia (chronic muscle pain syndrome) and am always looking for shoes that will look good but keep me moving and comfortable all day. These shoes were recommended to me by an arthritis sufferer, who is a teacher, on her feet all day, and swears by them. I have found them extremely comfortable and easy to walk in, but I do feel exhausted by the end of the day. I don't know if that's "normal" fibromyalgia exhaustion or something to do with the shoes, but I don't feel this way after every day so I suspect the shoes have something to do with it. On the other hand, they are much better than other shoes I've tried -- Birkenstocks throw my whole body out of alignment! I love the way they look -- most of my shoes are "clunky" and old lady-ish due to my disability, but these have a lot of style. I get compliments when I wear them. I like them enough that I'm thinking about trying their closed toe style for winter.

Broken buckles - Probably the most comfortable sandal in the world, but the buckles broke on two separate pairs. This is more than coincidence. I suggest buying the sandal, then having a shoemaker sew the adjustable strap closed. They should be more reliable.

Poor buckles. I have had these shoes only 4 months and the buckle broke on one of my shoes already. I just got them comfortable and now they are broken. For what you pay the shoes should last for years not weeks.

I could only order size 39 which I usually wear because no size 40 was available. But 39 is fine even though it is listed as 7 1/2 to 8 USA and I am 8 1/2. I would have liked the top strap narrower for appearances but I still like the way they fit.

I have shopping for a comfortable flat supportive sandal for weeks. I finally found this one. This sandal fits true to size, its attractive, has arch support and is light weight.

Great shoe, very comfortable. Had foot surgery several months ago, the first time I tried these, they hit in all the wrong places. Fast forward a few months, all is good. Great cush on the footbed too, Are they stylish? I feel a bit frumpy, but comfort rules these days.

I really don't understand what the hoo-ha is with Wolky shoes. I am looking for shoes to wear while visiting Rome, which is a place that requires a lot of walking on stones and uneven pavements. I ordered Wolky Nimes on the basis of some good reviews. I ordered a size up (39 rather than my usual 38) based on the manufacturer's recommendation. As soon as I opened the box I could see that the shoes were very large. They were indeed much too big for me. (?????) I tried them on and walked around the house a bit, trying to extrapolate to a correct size (whatever that would be!) and wondering whether it might be worthwhile to try a smaller size. I couldn't detect anything about the shoes that made me feel hopeful, nor anything that justified the high price. They were returned. I need a bit more arch support and some softness in the footbed. I'm still looking!

I have two pairs of Wolky sandals which I adore, and I was looking for another pair in a brown range. I was so disappointed with these. The brown snake print felt like vinyl and looked cheap. They were too wide and too long, although I had ordered my normal 40. I would exchange them for a 39 if the snake print were not so tacky. I'm going to see if the Liana style fits better.

Shoe is about one quarter to one half inch shorter than expected. Footbed edge where the arch would be is turned up (not just higher), and feels as if it would hurt after awhile.
