I bought a pair of these back in 1975. They fit like a comfortable pair of gloves. I just got a new pair last week. They are still very comfortable. It is the kidskin that makes them that way.

I've been wearing these boots for nearly 10 years (have 2 pair, black and soft/dark brown) and they're still my favorite jeans/dress boots. I wish the heel was about a half-inch taller, but I love the fact that the sole is not "outsized" like a lot of them are. That's okay in a cowboy or work boot, but (to me) not in a dress boot. This is a very cleanly styled and nice looking boot. It's sized about as normally as any shoe I've ever tried, no surprises there. After roughly 10 years of occasional wear I'm still very happy with both pair, and they're holding up really well in all respects.

When I saw these great boots with a long time brand name I love, I decided to take a leap of faith and buy my first shoes online. They arrived promptly and felt great. Unfortunately, due to a manufacturer's flaw, one boot zipper ripped free of the boot and basically was not wearable. Zappos replaced the boot within 2 days and I was impressed. I was told to donate or destroy or keep the original boots. To me, that means this rarely occurs or they would have had me return the boots to show the manufacturer. Plus, what trust in me as a customer! The new boots are perfect and the customer service couldn't be better. Thank you!

Nunn-Bush's Bristol is a classy boot, which compares favorably to the classic, good-looking Beatle boots of the 60s. Its understated design is equally suited for dressy and casual occasions, and, its fit rivals custom-made footwear. The heel is the perfect height to aid in foot support as well as posture and adds just the right amount of style to compliment the rest of the boot. I like this boot so much I now own three pair-just in case Nunn-Bush decides to stop making it. The only problem I have w/Nunn-Bush is that they don't make this gorgeous boot in cordovan. If they did I'd own three pair in that color, as well. Everything about this boot is perfect, otherwise, I would not own it.

I got my Nunn Bush Bristol Side Zip Ankle Boot Thursday 2/19/15, four days after I ordered them. The size is right on, they look narrow but I got the extra wide. I have only worn them inside to break them in and I feel they need more arch support and more cushion but I will be getting new supports soon. I give them a 4.5 overall if I could. I will buy from Zappos again.

I love this boot. It was kind of hard to get on at first but after that it broke right in to the point that it was super easy to get on and off. I do, however, wish they made these in brown or some other color but anyways good boot for a good price.

This is a great boot. There is no "breaking in" needed (which never works, anyway). Reminiscent of the Beatle boots of the 60s, which always looked good. Ankle supported quite well. Heel is graduated - almost 1&1/2 inches - and makes my back feel good by giving my posture an assist. Looks very sharp coming out from under the cuff. Gives a "complete" look. Great accessory for a sharp-dressed man. Just wish it came in cordovan - I'd buy it, too.

First of all I did yeoman's research for a dress boot shoe. Way more than a grown man should endeavor, but I did not want to pay $200 and up, I look for value. Let me tell you about the boot: Zappos is good and quick. The shoe arrived fast and was just as I had hoped. Leather is shiny but does not look cheap. The feel of the leather is of good quality and the lining is soft and Leather. The heel is taller than a regular heal at 1.25 inches but that's fine with me. A thick Leather Sole seals the deal. I am a business man and work with high net individuals, this shoe looks great with my Versace suits.

I genuinely found this shopping experience to be very accurately described and enjoyable from beginning (shopping, website), middle (customer service was friendly and knowledgable) and end (product arrived on time, as described, well packaged and undamaged). Keep in mind that this is indeed a lightweight boot. A good looking, handsome boot none the less. I have a narrow foot and the sizing was perfect. Those with wide foot measurements should ensure good measurements prior to ordering.
