I recently purchased my second pair of the Moosehide Classics. The first pair lasted many years. I had a small problem with the new pair and decided to ask about it using the "Chat" feature. I now have a brand new pair, no questions asked, no returns, just prompt, courteous, friendly service.

Love them. Right out of the box. Hesitated between 7.5 and 8. Got 7.5 and wore them around the house until they were just right. Super supple and great fit. Happy feet.

I just received mine and I really like them. My feet are wide so I ordered my tennis shoe size and they fit great. As long as the stitching and bonded soles hold up I'm totally satisfied and stylish too and the customer service was excellent. If they fall apart in a month, I'll write more but for now I'm one satisfied customer and ordered a pair for a friend. Excellent house shoes.

Straight up, the best slippers I've ever purchased. Buttery soft out of the package, and loose enough to slip off easily without being so loose that they just fall off. The foot bed and sole are sturdy enough for those days you just don't feel like getting out of your jammies and need to run to the store for something. Or, like me, you may find them the perfect travel shoes. Easy slip on/off makes gate security a breeze as well as letting your dogs breathe while you're on that 10 hour flight. The total travel package? These kicks, your favorite flannel jammies, and a pair of noise canceling headphones and you're in heaven as you magically fly through the air.

I've been a fan of Minnetonka moccasins for decades now. I always own a few pairs and love them for casual walking, around the house when you don't have to take your shoes off and especially for driving because they are so flexible and comfy. They have always been enjoyable, the uppers never wear out and when the sole of the driving shoes got wore out I just used the around the house. This pair is different from the Minnetonka Driving shoes in two significant ways. First, it has a normal sole, not the nubs as found the driving shoes, so the sole should be serviceable she I wear it out in the future (I also think that it will last a lot longer because it has far more surface area in contact with the ground than the int nubs of the driving shoes. Second is that Moosehide is so much softer than the cowhide of my driving shoes. The moose hide does not seem different until you wear them the you notice that they are much more supple and pliable than any cowhide I've ever owned. This makes them feel like soft house slippers and makes walking around even more comfy than soft cowhide. There is no arch support because its a moccasin thats not a flaw, its how moccasins have been made for centuries, so this is not a problem for me. If you need specialized arch support them you should be using custom orthotics anyway, which will easily fit in these very pliable shoes. Finally, an added benefit is that for years Ive read that moosehide is much tougher and cut resistant than cowhide and should outlast cowhide by many years (hence my desire to find a pair that can be resoled. I enjoy these so much that I now wear them everywhere, every day, with much pleasure.

I bought these for my husband who had been searching for a new pair of slippers and was disappointed in the ones we ordered from our usual vendor. These are well made and the leather is buttery smooth and soft. He is very happy with them.

What can I say, I'm looking for getting another pair after 12 years of wear on the first pair. All I can say is Minnetonka people make the best that one can find anywhere. Thanks all you folks at Minnetonka for making a wonderful and lasting product. I am a certified quality engineer and my congrats on making the standard that everyone in this business should follow.

Awesome. I had never worn a moccasin before but I was looking for a "minimalist" casual shoe. Couldn't find a place in my area that sold them so I ended up ordering a few pair from Zappos and sending the other ones back. All the ones I tried from Minnetonka had extremely soft leather and were extremely comfortable. The rubber sole on this pair suited me well because I want to wear these outside and while biking to class. I have not worn them in the rain (trying to avoid it) but after wearing half the days in a 3 month period, they have exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend and would buy again.

This is the second pair of these moccasins that I've bought from Zappos for my best male friend, and I'm basing this review on his feedback as the wearer. I bought the first pair for his 30th birthday and he loved them so much he wore them every single day, both to work and around the house. They finally wore out in time for me to purchase this second pair for his 40th birthday, last month. He's thrilled with them.

These mocs are pricey, but they wear like iron. I usually get 4 or 5 years out of a pair wearing them daily. The service from Zappos is superb.

First of all, I need to point out that if you have never felt moose hide before, it is incredibly soft. It is much softer than leather or deerskin, and feels about as soft as baby lamb skin does. The shoes are very soft, comfortable, and flexible. These are going to be my every day shoes, since the rubber sole seems quite durable. The shoes feel about a half size larger than marketed, which is perfect for me since I wear a 12.5, and I ordered a 12 (there was not a 12.5 to choose!). I would advise ordering a half size down if you want to wear them loose or without socks (as I do). Zappos is the best, as usual! The service I received is incredible. I ordered these shoes yesterday, and received them today, which is amazing to me. I received an email that my shipping was upgraded, for free, that my item had been shipped, and then three hours later they were on my doorstep. It is incredible considering they shipped from KY and arrived at a house in Texas in just a few hours. When I went back to check my shipping tracking, it said my order was shipped via next day air! I did not pay for that, and chose free shipping. I was very pleased, and will definitely order again for receiving such amazing service. Thank you Zappos!

These are the most comfortable moccasins I've had. Feather light, they feel just right. I'm going to order a pair for my wife.

Moosehide Mocs classic are great. Feel true to size and width. Due to the softness, some may think they are a little wider than a normal shoe, but there is no slippage, etc. Tightening the leather laces should solve any problems. Boatshoe type of sole should provide good outside wearability. This is my second pair of moosehides...first pair lasted approx 6 years! The moosehide is considerably more durable than regular leather and warmer, too. As always, Zappos service is great!

Very comfortable slippers. I thought they ran very small. Order your Nike shoe size and you should be good. Like that the laces go all the way around since I have narrow feet and can tighten them. Some have said that there is little support and that is true. But, it is a slipper for heaven's sake. I will say that the one drawback for me is that they are not at all breathable, but I guess I should have expected that since they are all leather. Overall, a nice slipper and something that you will enjoy.

I really like this moc. They're soft and luxurious feeling, and seem to be very well made. It's getting hard to find a moc/slipper these days that has a quality leather lining instead of fur. If you can find a pair that fits, go for it. Unfortunately, I won't be wearing them. I tried a 9 and a 9.5 (my usual size range). They both were snug, but comfortable, and I'm sure would have stretched to fit nicely, but my big toe was jammed up against the front of both sizes and not something that would resolve itself. As a last resort I tried a 10. Alas, it was too large. The toe box in this design is definitely not roomy.

Slippers are very well made of very soft leather. Sole is a step up from typical crepe soles. The only negative is the leather is so soft that there is little support in the heel area. My husband doesn't want to tie laces or bend over to put a slipper on and this leather is so soft that it just folds up under his foot unless he runs his finger around the heel as he puts then on. This leather is so soft it folds up under his foot when slipping them on.

These shoes were perfect for wearing around the house, but unhappily, the soles fell apart after about a year of indoor wear as house shoes.

I have worn a size 13 for years. These are a size 13 but my toe touches the front of the moccasin. It is simply not long enough.

My son just received these. Went to tighten the lace a bit and the string snapped. Any chance we can get replacement laces? He is VERY hard to find shoes for and likes these. Just need additional laces.

Couldn’t get it on.

I'm baffled by the narrowness of the EE (wide) width. Doesn't really even go on my foot. Just looking at it I could tell this was a skinny shoe.

This slipper runs very small. My husband usually wears a size 10.5 or an 11. After ordering and reordering he is now happy with a size 12. A well made, comfortable slipper that you can wear outdoors.

Bought for my husband less than a year ago. I read reviews these seemed like they would be durable but the stiches are ripped, laces gone and soul detached. Super bummed, the search for a durable slipper resumes:(
