Very Comfortable - These shoes are comfortable, non-slip, easy on and off. My father had me search for them, and I found them here. He will wear no other shoe. Thank Goodness for these shoes.

Perfect fit and arch support. Great walking shoe as well as good looking enough to wear to casual meetings.

Lightweight & comfortable - I could not believe how lightweight these shoes are, yet, after all day being on my feet, they are still as comfortable as first thing in the morning. The velcro strap is a bit nerdish, otherwise the shoes look good with the stitching around the top of the front and the rolled padding around the ankle.

Excellent shoe, excellent service. These have to be the lightest footwear ever!. As my husband wears a prosthesis in one shoe, I have been searching for this type of light weight shoe for sometime. A good looking shoe, well made. As he's in a wheel chair, I appreciate the ease with which these shoes go on and off. Love the full size of the velcro closure.

A real winner! My dad is 88 and has problems getting his shoes on and tying them. After trying maybe a dozen different shoes over the last two months, this is the first pair of shoes that he was able to put on and fasten himself. Just great!!!

Entirely Satisfied - 1/13/05 Whereas I was skeptical, prior to ordering online, that shoes being a most important product definitely require a comfortable fit, acceptable appearance, durability and reasonable price. Zappos'product fortunately and gratefully fulfilled all requirements.

A Winner - The Hush Puppy is a winner because of it's light weight, flexible material, and good fit. The grooved sole adds unusual flexibility when walking. Materials and workmanship are out standing.

My husband wears nothing else. This is my husband's third pair of Hush Puppies "Gil". He is diabetic and suffers from neuropathy. He finds these shoes to be very comforable and lightweight. We would highly recommend them. They also seem to wear well.

I ordered this shoe for my husband who had to be fitted with a brace for a medical condition called Drop-foot. He normally wears a size 13, but with this shoe I had to order a 14 to accommodate the brace. He says these shoes are lightweight and he loves them. Very pleased with the service, fast shipping, good follow-up, and no bugging. It’s good doing business with your Zappos.

The shoes were very light and fairly comfortable for new shoes, however after several hours on my feet it developed a pressure point on my big toe. I think with continued use this will diminish.

handsome and comfortable - This shoe is just right...it looks and feels good on the foot..it seems to be engineered for the big man with big feet because it supports the foot well...the only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is having half sizes available beyond 13. My hubands best shoes - THESE SHOES ARE TERRIFIC! My husband's brother gave him his first pair. Doug fell in love with them. They are very comfortable. They look good also. I will be buying another pair. This is a very good work shoe. My husband doesn't complain of his feet hurting him anymore. Thanks

A wonderful lightweight and good looking shoe - I bought these shoes for my father who can no longer tie his own shoes. I was really just aiming for convenience with the velcro closure but found that the shoe was also a light as a feather with a very up-to-date styling. My dad just kept thanking me and saying how wonderful the shoes felt. Thanks to Zappos for carrying this model of Hush Puppies shoes. They were worth every penny. Also your shipping during the holiday rush was absolutely exceptional. I had the shoes in two days. I am totally impressed!

Good looks and comfort, too! We bought this shoe for our dad who is 92 years old. He says they are comfortable and easy to put on even with his arthritis. They look good enough to use as dress shoes as well as every day shoes.

Locally I could not find this shoe. I was happy that it was available via the internet, especially postage free. I also like the single strap closure.

The first Velcro shoe that has some style! I wear a brace on one foot and take a size larger than usual.

Office shoe for a back patient - I needed a velcro closure shoe that was appropriate for the office. This is pretty close. It looks a bit clunky to me, but is consistent with current styles. It fits well and is very light, but I wish it had more support.

Hush Puppies Gil - This is my third pair of Gils. I had to purchase a size larger due to the fact that I am wearing a brace on my right foot. This means that I have to buy two pairs to get one. At that rate, your prices are a little expensive for someone on a fixed income but they work well for me overall.

Shoes look and feel OK. Time will tell the rest of the story. Will probably purchase another pair in a few days.
