I live in my Frye Harness 12R boots. I have them in three colors, and ordering my fourth pair now. After a brief break-in, they are as comfortable as sneakers.

I bought my first pair of fries harnes 12 about 30 years ago and later bought a second pair. I still have and wear both almost all the time. I simply can't live without them . but to anybody who are buying their first pair you need to know that these boots should start of feeling pretty snug as they completly form to your feet over time and become the most comfortable boots you will ever own , it does take time so be patient

I bought these a few years ago and have barely worn them as the fit is too narrow and I get blisters every time I walk in them. They look beautiful and are really well made but sadly I never managed to break them in.

Based on the price, I went back-and-forth with this purchase. However, the company offers $30 off your first purchase and free shipping. Due to this and great reviews, I ordered them online. However, I didnt realize until it was too late, that when I added the discount code, this changed my order from a size 9, to a size 11. Additionally, I was charged shipping fees. Frustrated I Immediately attempted to switch the size, however, was unable to do so. I didnt waste any time emailing customer service; explaining my dilemma. Customer service responded the next day. I was informed that the order could not be changed, however they could cancel the order and I could re-order the correct size. I responded right away yes please. They then replied it was too late and that my order had been shipped, that I could return them once received. This left me wondering why customer service offered to cancel the order in the first place? I needed the boots for a trip & didnt feel comfortable with an additional charge on my cc. I asked if I could speak with management. I did not hear from customer service again after that. I attempted to call, however was prompted to leave a messageAs of today still no response.

They are beautiful BUT I cant wear these boots because they are too narrow and my feet are not wide. I bought them through the exchange program so I couldnt return them. I wonder if they are actually 9.5 N? It looks like an N and usually there is a B. Is there a way to stretch them out? I also would prefer to wear socks with them since there is absolutely no cushion, but if I wear socks, they are way too tight. I noticed on the inside there is some kind of fabric coating the leather if I take that off, would I be able to stretch them in the width??

I bought these boots in the smoke color some time in the mid 90's. Definitely over 25 years ago. Let me just say, I'm not great about polishing or upkeeping my boots. The uppers on these look exactly the same as the day I bought them. They have a little wear on the soles, but it has been 25 years. I still get compliments on them every single time I wear them. If you are considering investing in a pair, I highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful boots, true to size, can't wait to wear them, my third pair of Frye boots and I will buy more in the future, they're the best!

These boots are beautifulthe fit was great but my legs are a bit short and the top of the boot hit me at a very unflattering point. I tried them with all the jeans and clothes that I wear regularly and just could not make it work. Great return policy, I will find something else that works!

Have been wanting these forever and finally purchased. Lovely leather and comfortable fit on foot. Shaft of boot does run a bit tight on leg. I purchased 8.5 and I usually wear 8-8.5. Will be cute w jeans over them or w long skirt or dress. If I had purchased smaller probably would not have fit my legs.

I bought these boots a decade ago. They are still hands down one of the best purchases Ive ever made. Stunning boots that hold up over time, but materially and in style.

I have these exact boots that I bought a few years back. I was never able to wear them because they are super narrow. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in , but it didnt work. I love them and wish I could wear them but theyre to painful. Its too late to exchange them so theyre just sitting in my closet practically new. Theyre beautiful boots . I wish there was something I could do.

The quality of these boots is awesome! I can tell they will last for many many years. They do run a bit big and slightly narrow but that isnt a problem for my more narrow feet. I do recommend these boots and think they are definitely worth it! Cant wait to style many different ways

For this price point I was hoping to have width options. The 6.5 is the perfect length but too narrow so I exchanged for size 7 which will be a tad long and still a little snug. These Frye were a gift and I really wanted to love them. My Tony Lamma boots are size 6, B and fit perfectly and were much less expensive :woman-shrugging:

I have always wanted a pair of these boots and I am so happy I bought them! They go with everything and are so comfortable looking forward to many years of wearing these amazing boots.

I got these second hand from a friend who was going to toss them 20 years ago. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I wear them all the time. Sometimes everyday. The little nails started to push thru, construction splatter won't come out (10yrs ago) I still get compliments, as they were not just used for pretty looks. They hold up with everything I do in life, literally. One day maybe I can afford 1 more pair. First pair has last me from my 20's & going into 50's

This pair completed my set. I now have, black, red, smoke and caramel. My favorite style!
