Love them - Perfect color, very cool looking (I've gotten lots of compliments on them), good fit, comfortable enough to wear all day long. I wanted these for a while and I love them.

Love them... I bought these boots in this color and loved them so much I have since bought all the colors (except gold...that’s not my thing). They fit great right out of he box...I wear a 7 and that’s what I ordered, if I had gone down a half size like they say to it would have been too tight. Everyone should have a pair!!!

Frye boot - Excellent. Arrived right on time, looks, fits perfect.

Great boots - I love these boots! Yes they do slip a little at the heel but boy are they comfortable!! I've worn them to work where I'm on my feet all day and they've never hurt once. I've worn them with jeans and skirts. Great boots!!! I read the comments and ordered a full size smaller and they fit perfect.

Love them! After reading every single review, I opted to get my actual size instead of ordering half a size down since I have a slightly wide foot. I'm glad I did-- a half size down would have been far too narrow in the foot area. Unless you have a very narrow foot, you may want to stick with your normal shoe size. The fit was really weird at first. My left foot (which is a bit bigger) felt fine, but the right heel slipped more than the left, while they felt slightly big overall. I wore them with slightly heavier socks for a day, and then suddenly when I tried them on, they were too tight with the heavier socks! I was then able to wear them with normal socks without a problem. I was expecting the heels to slip, as they are supposed to, which took about a day to get used to. I've had them for about 3 weeks and I am in LOVE with these boots and have been wearing them frequently. I got them in the Dark Brown Crazy Horse, which is a wonderful distressed looking brownish tan color (don't think they'll be dark brown because of the name-- they're not). Overall I'm extremely pleased with these boots and can't wait to get another pair in a different color.

Frye 12 RW - The quality of material and workmanship of this boot is absolutely first rate. These boots are going to wear like iron and be with me for many, many years. Timeless style. I have received many compliments on them. Very stiff and somewhat uncomfortable for first 7 or 8 wearings, but I stuck it out and it was worth it. Fit and feel are wonderful now. My only complaint is they are still tough to get on and off. Top shelf, worth every penny! Thanks Zappos!

My Frye's - The shoes are great! I am usually a nine, so this is what I ordered. They are a tad bit large, but I am able to wear thicker socks so they fit perfectly! An 8.5 would have been much too small. My ONLY complaint is that they are very hard to get off; I get a cramp each time I pull them off! I would totally recommend.

I waited way too long to buy a pair of Frye's, they're great; before I got them out of the box I knew I'd love them. I did order my true shoe size and had to exchange them for a half size smaller. The return/exchange with Zappos is amazing, so fast! I ordered the Dark brown crazy horse and was a little nervous with the color, but it's pretty accurate with the picture. The leather is really soft which makes them easy to walk in, as far as getting them on, it's a little tough, but they have those pulls on the tops of the boot which helps you pull them on. I feel pretty bad *#! when I wear them!!

Debated forever, but I have 'em now and LOVE this boot - I was worried it would be too "butch" but this boot is sexy and beautiful and I love them. I have worn them for a couple of days now and they are already really comfortable. Started out tight in the toe box, but that is loosening up. As comfy as new Dansko's, ultimately this will hold up better and look way nicer.

Frye's Harness 12R W - I am obsessed with these shoes. The only issue, which improves with wear, is getting them on and off - but it is not a huge problem and after the 5th wear it became much easier.

Dark Brown Crazy Horse 12R W - Zappos is sooo great! I just received my new boots in 2 days instead of the anticipated 4-5 days - GREAT! I ordered 1/2 size down from the norm, as recommended by the Frye website, & they fit perfectly! I received them at work & couldn't wait to put them on, so I walked around in them at work for awhile. They were so comfortable walking around the office in them that it made my other work shoes so uncomfortable when I put them back on. I can tell these are going to be a favorite! And, I love the distressed leather - they'll just get better with time. I did give comfort only 4 stars b/c they are a bit difficult to slide on and off, but once they're on, they're great!

Love these boots! The ever fabulous Zappos price matched these boots for me from another website. They fit like a glove and the color is beautiful. The heel is the perfect height. I can't wait to wear them this fall and winter with jeans and skirts.

Can't go wrong with this one! It's a handsome, classic boot. I have wide feet with high arches and ordered a half size down, and these pretty much fit out of the box, though my right instep is a bit wider than my left and the boot is snug (not uncomfortable though). After break-in, I expect years of wear out of these. And they DO look great!

Solid Purchase! I had been contemplating this purchase for awhile and I am glad I went ahead and purchased the boots. They look great for one thing, PLUS they are comfortable!! The boot is a little snug (I have a wide foot) when I slip the boots on (at the point where your ankle will be in the boot), but once they are completely on, they fit great!!

If you want good boots that will last, stick with Frye - I currently have two pairs of these boots -one of them I've owned for 5 years and they've taken quite a beating! I live rurally and these boots can stand up to pretty much anything and still look good. They're incredibly well-made, durable, and attractive shoes. Like any boots, however, you DO have to break them in, which can take a while. I have very wide feet so the boots were initially snug across the top of my foot; they hurt my feet for an initial few weeks of almost-daily wearing, but the leather stretched to accommodate my foot and now they're very comfortable.

This was my 4th pair of Frye boots. All of my purchases have been of the highest quality. This boot was comfortable out of the box, having a great heel height and wider toe box. Zappos has the best shipping and return policy of any store, on line or local! I will continue to buy my shoes and boots from Zappos.

Kept my feet dry in a monsoon! I wore these while walking all around Hong Kong, I got caught in a rainstorm, and I had to walk in 6 inches of water for about a 1/2 mile... They kept my feet dry a toasty the whole time! I was not expecting that. After the fact, they still look really great, especially with all my white eyelet dresses. The leather is oiled so when they get scratched it gets a 2 toned look and adds visual interest.

Frye harness boots - I got the boots faster than I expected and I love them.

The boot of my dreams..... I've been looking for this boot for ages and could never find it in my size, in the right color, at a reasonable price. Once again Zappos comes through! The boot is gorgeous and comfy as cloud. I bought them a half size larger in case I wanted to wear them with a heavy sock. I have a closet full of feminine high heels but when I want to feel like a hot biker chick or cowgirl, these are boots I reach for.... Thank you Zappos! The best customer service I've ever encountered!

Not for my foot - Great boot, great service from Zappos. With this boot beware if you have a heavier calf - they won't fit - see the sizes - they are true. Bought a 7-1/2 and though they run true to size, they just won't fit my calf, which is about 1/2" larger than the size of the boot. Too tight!

I love these boots - I tried on about a dozen boots before I decided to spend the money to get the Frye harness boots. A lot of the cheaper boots I looked at were cute and fashionable but were cheaply made. These boots are really high quality and I expect they will last forever and they're not trendy. I think they will always be in style. They are very comfortable. I have a high arch so I use a shoehorn to get them on but after a while I probably won't have to. The Frye’s are a substantial boot! Pretty Darn Satisfied - I was definitely impressed with my pair of Frye boots. Not only do they look cool, but they are very comfortable and are suitable for wearing all day. But because they run large, I would suggest buying a half size smaller than you actually are.

Zappo's rocks! Love these boots. They are beautiful, fit like a dream and are well made. Definitely buy a half size smaller than you normally wear. I bought an 8, normally wear 8.5, and the 8 is perfect. I ordered on Saturday, the boots arrived on Tuesday. And they are perfect. After a bad experience on an online auction (boots were advertised as new adn were worn and damaged) I tried Zappos and will never go back.

Frye 12R W Black: Overall very pleased - The boots rub my outer ankles and were initially uncomfortable because of this. They are slowly becoming more comfortable in those areas with continued wear. The fit otherwise is perfect--no "breaking in" period neccessary for the feet. The craftsmanship is excellent. The footbed is made of a slightly springy material that really does add to the comfort and wearability. I was able to wear these boots right out of the box for a full nine hour workday where I'm on my feet all day. I know it was risky, but with my ankles preventively bandaged for that first day, I made it through the whole day with no blisters and happy feet. I've been wearing the boots pretty much every day since I got them.
