I love these boots! They're made beautifully, the leather is like buttah, and they felt good from the first wearing. I wear a size 7, and I have a high arch and a wide toe span, and the 7 is the one that fits me. The sides of the boot next to my toes feels a little stiff, but I can tell it will relax. The other thing I really like is that even though they're not sissy, pretend harness boots, they're not big and clunky. They're streamlined, both in the toe area and on the calf, so they look both rugged and sexy. Also, Zappos was really nice about matching a lower price I found online! Great buy, great service, great boot-- thanks!

These boots rock! This is the exact boot look I wanted for a woman's biker boot so I can ride with my husband. Perfect biker boot, not too butch-definitely not prissy. Excellent comfort, good arch support. Size ran big at the heel if you're not wearing a heavy winter sock. I had to exchange for 1/2 size smaller than my regular size.

Hot hot HOT - I LOVE these boots. They go with everything. I got the antique gold ones (I have TOO many black boots) and they're gorgeous. The heel and sole are rubber lined and I find this gives me confidence on wet surfaces. I’ve been wanting these boots for years and now I have them. We’re going to be very happy (and hot) together for a looooong time!

AWESOME BOOT - This is my second pair of Frye boots I bought from Zappos. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear. They are very comfortable and it didn't take long to wear them in. I also have the campus boot from Frye. I originally had ordered an 8 1/2 in the campus and sent them back for a half size smaller. Zappos has a great return and exchange policy. I always recommend your website to people.

Frye Cool Boots - I love these boots they are not the most comfortable but they are awesome!

Great boot - Love the look and quality-only complaint is they are a little hard to get on the first few times. Once you pull on then they are comfortable but the leather is very thick and hard and you need to pull them on.

Love Them - Very comfy, good looking, well made boots. The color is not dark brown, more medium aged, was surprised, but it's a very worn in look. Also I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, I got the 9 but should have ordered smaller, would recommend you order your smaller size if you can do either. I just got them but they go great with jeans, dresses, skirts. Plan to get another pair in different color.

Love these boots! I have wanted these boots for a few years now, and finally got them as a Christmas present. I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I ordered. I needed a 1/2 size smaller than what I usually wear. The return was amazingly simple...I had the replacement boots in my possession before I even sent the original order back...and was never charged for the replacement pair! I will order ALL my shoes from Zappos from now on!

Boots!!!!!!!! I really, really love these boots! I was worried that they wouldn't fit my "athletic" calves but they fit wonderfully and are very comfortable. I had to fight to get them on the first time but since then go on no problem. I highly recommend these boots!

Classic, rugged comfortable - Just like Dad's boots from 30 years ago! These are well-crafted, solidly-built and very comfy.

Believe - When others say they are a 1/2 size too large, believe them. I wear a 7 and when I got the size 7 in these boots they were too long. I am hoping that a 6.5 will fit better. I don't think I own any 6.5 size shoes but this boot was just too long. I have medium width feet and shoes that are true to size require a 7 for me. I also suspect that if I had kept the size 7 they would have stretched out and would have felt even bigger. I tried the size 7 on with thick socks and felt that they were okay but after a break-in interval they would have been huge. If you have a wide foot then your normal size would probably work after they were broken-in.

Awesome Boots! Love these boots - and I'm super picky. I have a damaged nerve on the bottom of my foot, so I have to be really careful about what shoes I wear. I was worried these boots would hurt my foot or just wouldn't be comfortable for me, but NOT SO! I love them. They look awesome and super tough. Love the color too! They are hard to get on though, but standing up to do it helps. They felt true to size for me.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS - They are IMPOSSIBLE (well, almost) to get on the first time you try, but don't give up! Just wear them for a few hours and see how much they relax. I have the gold boots and I would't ususally go for a gold boot, but I love this one. It's not prissy, it's just cool.

Love these boots, give them a try - Unlike most other reviewers, I had no trouble getting these boots on the first time I tried. They have fit comfortably since the first day. I'm in between sizes and often have to try different sizes to get the right fit, so I went with the larger size. I have some Justin boots and although I love how they look, I don't wear them nearly as much as these boots. With those boots, I can't forget I have boots on. With the Fryes, I don't even think about what I'm wearing. Love them.

Better than promised - I read all the reviews before purchasing as a gift for myself. I am thrilled w/them! Yes, they are difficult to get on the first few times, but they easily broke in. They look great (nice weathered finish) and are too cool! I am very happy w/Zappos. And I'm usually an 8 sometimes 8.5 so I got the 8. Fit great, but are narrow in case you have wide feet.

Cowgirl heaven - These are fantastic boots! They look chic yet rugged, and have a totally timeless feel to them; I recommend them 100%. They feel true to size, and after a little wearing in (after all, they are boots!) they'll be comfy as ever. Great for impressing the guys too ;)

I ordered the Frye harness size 8 1/2....my order arrived very quickly and I realized they were too large...I talked to an employee from Zappos, who helped me with my return label which Zappos took care of...thank you...and sent me a 1/2 size smaller before I returned the larger boots... I really appreciated that because I had a Christmas party to attend and was hoping to wear them....they arrived promptly and I returned the larger boots promptly.... They fit great! Look great! And I love doing business with Zappos...they totally take care of the customer....Attitude is everything!!

The reviews are dead-on accurate. In considering this boot, I laughed at the previous reviews and wondered who would be silly enough to keep a boot that was nearly impossible to get on. But then, everyone said it was comfortable once they got it on, and it looks great. I ordered it figuring that if I had trouble getting it on, I'd return it. Not so. It is, as advertised, very tough to get on (especially if, like me, you have high arches). But once it's on it's really comfy, and for some reason it's easy to get off. As for looks - great! Can't beat the look of this leather for a slightly rough look. Great with jeans and skirts. I love this boot, even as I struggle to get it on.

This is a beautiful boot and can actually be worn with casual clothes and some dressy things. I'm used to wearing Born, so I found that they need a little breaking in at the beginning. I have an extremely narrow heel so the heel slips a little on me, but I wouldn't think that that's the norm. I love them!

Love them - Perfect color, very cool looking (I've gotten lots of compliments on them), good fit, comfortable enough to wear all day long. I wanted these for a while and I love them.

Love them... I bought these boots in this color and loved them so much I have since bought all the colors (except gold...that’s not my thing). They fit great right out of he box...I wear a 7 and that’s what I ordered, if I had gone down a half size like they say to it would have been too tight. Everyone should have a pair!!!

Great boots - I love these boots! Yes they do slip a little at the heel but boy are they comfortable!! I've worn them to work where I'm on my feet all day and they've never hurt once. I've worn them with jeans and skirts. Great boots!!! I read the comments and ordered a full size smaller and they fit perfect.

Love them! After reading every single review, I opted to get my actual size instead of ordering half a size down since I have a slightly wide foot. I'm glad I did-- a half size down would have been far too narrow in the foot area. Unless you have a very narrow foot, you may want to stick with your normal shoe size. The fit was really weird at first. My left foot (which is a bit bigger) felt fine, but the right heel slipped more than the left, while they felt slightly big overall. I wore them with slightly heavier socks for a day, and then suddenly when I tried them on, they were too tight with the heavier socks! I was then able to wear them with normal socks without a problem. I was expecting the heels to slip, as they are supposed to, which took about a day to get used to. I've had them for about 3 weeks and I am in LOVE with these boots and have been wearing them frequently. I got them in the Dark Brown Crazy Horse, which is a wonderful distressed looking brownish tan color (don't think they'll be dark brown because of the name-- they're not). Overall I'm extremely pleased with these boots and can't wait to get another pair in a different color.
