Great boots, run big - I've been waiting for my size to come in for quite some time. I would definitely go with at least a 1/2 size down if you have narrow feet. My heel still slips a little, but I've been told that is normal with pull on boots and it won't cause blisters. Zappos is the best! Notified me when my size was available and then had them delivered within one day. Great boots.

Very comfortable and stylish - I've been wanting a pair of harness boots for years now. I read other reviews and decided to order a half size smaller than I usually wear. The boots fit perfectly right out of the box. I wore them at home for about 20 minutes and then wore them to work the next day for an 8 hour shift on concrete floors. I had absolutely no issues with the shoes whatsoever, except that the balls of my feet were tired due to the slight heel. I usually wear Doc Martens or Adidas to work. My feet didn't hurt in the least. I love, love, love these boots! Now I just need to return the first pair of boots I ordered which were supposed to be a men's in size 7, but came in as a women's in size 7. No worries, I like the women's style boot better than I thought I would and am now glad I didn't get the men's. I can't wait until the weather turns nicer and I can wear these boots with a little flippy skirt. They look great with straight leg jeans and boot cut jeans as well.

I absolutely love these boots! They’ve been around for such a long time, I don’t know how I got by without purchasing a pair years ago. They seem to never go out of style. They are very very comfortable, and look so good on my feet. The leather never had to be broken in, they feel great. Once again, Frye, you’re the best!

FA-BU-LOUS - I get more compliments on this boot than any other of my shoes. ps-I ordered a full size smaller after trying on and returning my normal size. I am an 8 1/2, I tried with that first and finally ended up with the 7 1/2. Be wary they run HUGE. They are amazingly comfortable (of course a bit tight at first but each time they get better). They are rock star boots. I love em'.

Wow! These boots are great looking. They fit true to size and were comfy immediately. This is my second pair of Frye's. I got the Veronica Slouch and they were true to size as well. The Veronica's needed breaking in, but not these Harness 12R's. They are a bit heavy, but feel really substantial and good. Great color. Love 'em. AND... I ordered them on a Monday evening at 8 pm Pacific Time and got them THE NEXT DAY before 2 pm! I had just requested the free standard shipping (5-7 business days) but they upgraded my shipping for some reason and voila! THAT was amazing! Thanks Zappos. Great service. :-)

Thank God For Zappoes! I have waited to buy this boots! They are simply the best. Every guy loves them on me and says how sexy they are... you can walk in them with confidence....wear socks, it takes about six times of long wearing to break them in, once you do their the best boot. I wear mine with jeans...loved them so much I bought them in black and brown....they are made so well...if you already are thinking about them BUY THEM!!!

GREAT BOOTS! Have been wanting the Frye Harness 12R boots for a long time. Finally got them and love them! Get compliments everywhere I go, not matter what I have them on with...skinny jeans tucked in, boot cut jeans or skirts/dresses. Little tight to get on and off due to the "harness" but they are stretching out...very comfortable!

Love these boots!! I purchased these boots from Zappos on a Sunday afternoon, and had them on Tuesday. I was very pleased with the shipping. I love the boots! I wasn't sure that they would fit because I have very athletic calves, and have trouble finding boots that fit right. They fit my calves beautifully. I ordered my normal shoe size, and they fit fine. There is some slippage in the heel, but not enough to bother me. I have found that they are more comfortable when I wear a thinner, synthetic sock with them. I tried thick cotton socks, and the boots chaffed my feet. Bottom line: I love these boots and have received many compliments on them.

Adorable and comfortable!!! I just received them today and loved them immediately! The color is perfect- I think it will go with absolutely everything. I tried them on with some skirts, dresses, pants- they made every outfit look so cute! I wore them from the minute I got them with no discomfort- actually they were super comfy immediately. I tried in the past to get Frye harness boots and ordered and half size smaller than usual- and because of the way the toe area goes in slightly they felt like they were squishing my toes. My true size feels perfect- there's extra room at the end of my toes- but they are not squished together now. The heel does slightly move- but doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. Also- these are lighter than the campus boots and feel great! I think I will be wearing them constantly! I think they look great with winter and spring and summer clothes- maybe the perfect shoe? I own the Frye Carmen (short length) and have worn them all winter- almost every day- and also have the campus boot- but I think these may become my favorites!

Great boots, great customer service - These boots are amazingly comfy and good looking. I also wanted to mention that I attempted to order them online from somewhere else before I came across Zappos and had a terrible experience with that other company. Zappos sent me the boots and I am sitting here wearing them two days after I put my order through. Zappos has the best customer service in the business. I would highly recommend them!

LOVE these boots... I never thought I'd wear these quite so much, but they are so comfortable. They look fantastic with corduroys, jeans and long skirts. They are maybe a little less than half a size larger than what I usually wear, but that little bit of extra room translates into a lot of comfort and does not cause blisters or discomfort. I can also wear two pairs of socks when I travel to colder climates. As far as travel, this is the first shoe I've ever worn during an entire flight. My feet are comfortable AND warm. No need to take them off! They are fast on and off in the security line as well.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE! I couldn't love these any more! They fit perfect, they look awesome. I haven't taken them off since I got them. They feel a bit stiff when you first put them on, but that goes away quickly. If you're in between sizes, get the smaller one.

Pretty big.... I found these boots to be a full size larger than I wear, even with thick socks. But they look great, the treads will handle snow and ice, so I will order a smaller size.

They're Hot - I've had these boots for over a year. They are my favorite boots ever. I ordered my size and they fit great, I think some people are confused about what size they wear. We ride Harleys and they are perfect for that. They have not lost their shape or appeal and I wear them a lot.

Frye Harness 12R - Good looking boot! I am so happy, as I have wanted a pair of Frye boots for so long! However, they are a half size big (at least)... I just ordered another pair a half size down and will be returning this one. A bit of a bummer, but hopefully well worth it in the end.

I love these boots. I wear them almost everyday. They are casual enough to run to the store with the kids and they look good enough to wear to dinner at night. One of the best pair of boots I've ever gotten.

I love these shoes - My only problem was getting them on easily the first few times- but other than that they're great!

Incredible boot! I just got my harness boots a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them! It took about two to three times (wearing) to break them in but now they fit like a glove and are so comfortable. You will need to order a size down because they run a bit big. They are also a bit narrow (luckily my foot is narrow) so for those who don't have narrow feet it might be a little tricky. I also love the fact that Zappos has the best customer service! Everyone that I have spoken to has been so helpful and extremely nice. I have never dealt with such great customer service, Thank you Zappos!! You also get what you order within 24 hours! Need I say more?

FABULOUS!! I bought these boots two years ago in the red color and absolutely fell in love with them! I decided even though I still have the red ones that I would get them in brown as well! They fit true to size, wear fantastically, and look absolutely awesome!!

GREAT BOOT - My sister had these boots and I really liked them so I ordered them. Get a half size smaller I got a 7.5 instead of 8.When I first got them the toe area seemed to tight but they do stretch to fit quickly. Very comfortable they mold to your feet. Super sexy with jeans and little skirts. Buy them you will love them.

Perfect. These are sort of my dream boots, and they were entirely worth the money. I've only had them for a few weeks but I've already broken them in really well and they are just amazing.

Everything I hoped and more - I LOVE these boots. They are a speck narrow for my wide foot, but since they aren't stretched out yet, I am confident they will be great after a few wears! These boots make me feel wild and confident...they are kick butt. Zappos was awesome to deal with. I will definitely buy more shoes from them in the future!

My little winter secret - I am currently living in New York, and hate all the winter/rain boots that are appropriate for a winter in February. I wanted something that is cute enough to wear out at night, yet comfortable and water proof with a rubber sole. I finally ordered myself a pair of Frye boots. They are construction weld meaning they are extremely sturdy which is imperative in a city like New York where you walk everywhere, they stretch out enough to fit a pair of thick socks, have a good grip to the ground, and look better as they get beat up. I would definitely recommend them. When I went skiing this winter, all my friends wore they Ugly Uggs at night while I was able to run around in my cute Frye boots.
