I love these boots! I've resoled mine 3X...last time he put a Vibram sole on them and it's perfect since it snows where I live. I can where them all day and be comfortable. Buy a 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear. I'm getting another pair in Black, have the Brown now and love them!

Ordered a 9.5 (my usual size.) Too small. Ordered a 10. Too big. Ordered another 9.5. Perfect. Moral of the story? If you don't find a perfect fit, keep at it. There is variation within sizes. Good luck!

I ordered both the 8.5 (my normal shoe size) and the 9 to compare - the 9 fits better, so for me these boots run a bit small. That said, I also tried them on with thick socks because I planned to wear these in the winter. Quality looks great! I didn't get a chance to test that out, though, because I am returning these boots for a different style. Frye's description says that this style "needs a certain type to make this boot her own". Apparently, I'm not that type. These were just too heavy and clunky for me. Nothing against the style in general, these boots just didn't fit in my wardrobe. If you are looking for an edgy boot, give these a try!

Like others, I was concerned about the fit of these boots. After trying on several pairs of Fryes at local stores (nobody had the Harness, though, or else I wouldn't be here!) I decided to try an 8.5 (my "normal" size) and a 9. The 8.5 was uncomfortably tight around the ball of my foot, and due to the thickness of the leather I had doubts about how much they'd stretch. Then I put on the 9. It was a Harry-Potter-gets-his-wand kind of moment. Perfect fit. So comfy I didn't want to take them off. Love the boots! I purchased the cognac washed oiled vintage boots and just love the color. Because I have a neuroma in my right foot, I did order a half size up to accommodate a wider foot bed. With my thick socks it works perfectly! As anyone with foot problems knows, it is very difficult to find something that is comfortable. Thanks Zappos for your support.

The reviews (which I should have read beforehand) are correct. The boot was a full 1/2 size too big. Beautiful construction, but sadly I had to return them.

I'm a huge Frye Harness fan, and have too many but when I saw these in suede, I had to have them, they are perfection!

In love! I bought these true to size 8 1/2. They slip a little, but feel good. They do take some time to break in but are so gorgeous I wear them in my pajamas around the house. The tan color is really nice.

Like many others, I coveted these boots for years before I stumbled on a killer sale and had to splurge. What can I say. It was love at first wear. I am a true size 9 in all other shoes - even Frye boots - but these fit me best in an 8½. They took just a few days of devoted wear before they molded to my feet, but they were never uncomfortable. They do eat socks, so I wear them barefoot. These boots are sexy, man. They look great with anything - dresses, leggings, skinny jeans - and are rugged enough I did not think twice wearing them on a short but muddy hike. I have the tan which truly complements any outfit, and now I am eyeballing the charcoal. I am a boot devotee - they are really all I wear - and if I had to keep just one pair it would be these.
