Overall this was the boot I was looking for. Unfortunately I literally couldn't get my foot in the boot. So disappointing.

I would consider this boot defective. I should have listened to other customers. The upper buckle area has what feels like plastic threads and they poke. The threads ruined a pair of leggings by amazing them into a mess. I wish I could also get the money back for the ruined leggings.

I am returning these boots. Although they were true to size, getting my foot into them was crazy painful over the top of my high-arched foot. This might have loosened up over time as other reviewers have said, but even after my foot was into the boot, the arch support was nowhere near as great as my Frye harness or campus style boots. Then I looked in the mirror the boot on my foot and it looked like an apologetic little cheapo rainboot - something about these just looks plain and a bit silly and for the price, that is a non-starter. Bummer.

Super cute, but couldn't get my foot past the lower buckle. Can people really wear these? perhaps I have an abnormally high arch, but man!, these are just unwearable. I've tried two other styles by Frye, all are horrible...can't get my foot in.

Let me preface this review by the fact that I truly believe Zappos sent me the wrong size. Like a man's 9 instead of a woman's. I can see how this is possible because there were no indications on the outside of the box as to what size they were. None whatsoever save for a barcode. It was also very difficult to look inside the boot to find out what size it was, too. It's unfortunate that I had to send them back and wait for a my return to process so I can order another pair because they really do look super bad and very well made. I hope the return goes through soon because I stalked these boots for a really long time and had to talk myself into finally taking the plunge and I'm a little disappointed. All that said, they looked like really nice, sturdy, well constructed boots and I'll have to write another review once I finally get another pair that actually fits.

Great looking, horrible inserting! The instep on this boot is a nightmare! I fly a lot and this boot was not not an easy boot to take off or pull on. It looks great but I will never buy this type of boot from Frye again.

I wish I could have actually fit the boot. I couldn't even get my foot in! But it looked really nice.

Strap broke! I loved these boots but the ankle strap broke after only about 5 wearings.
