I buy size based on in-store NB measuring. I am not sure it is accurate. The shoe is well made. Looks nice. Doesn't hurt. But....something's not right. They don't seem to lace up snugly, not sure why. Will keep wearing. Would be glad to add to this review later.

the left shoe fits perfect but the right shoe is big. I slip out of it. I find that odd

This is advertised as a walking shoe. While I appreciate the padding that cushions my feet on concrete surfaces, the rigid structure has caused some soreness as my foot and ankle muscles have tried to adjust to the shoes. If you are concerned about fit and comfort, I suggest you not buy on-line unless you are have had the same style before.

I usually order the men's because I had a hard time getting the roll bar in black in women's. They are like walking and standing on concrete. They are also all leather so they are hot. My last pair had some mesh so my feet didn't get as hot. I wear an 8 1/2 in women's and an 8 in men's even though I've been told men's are 2 sizes bigger.

Shoes are very comfortable. Great support. Problem is I feel like they are seconds. The one tongue is longer than the other.

I was disappointed as these said they were true to size, but my normal size 10 was way too short.

It was too big. I walked out of it because the heel was too big. A shame because it is a nice looking shoe.

While the shoe is a great fit. The soles on the heel are thin and cause discomfort on my heels.

These walking shoes are okay, but because the sizes are now "universal" and not really made to fit narrow feet, they are less than perfect. My heel slips around in them, and even after ordering 1/2 size larger than previously, my toes are cramped. When I adjust the laces to tighten the heel, the shoelaces are so short they don't really tie properly and keep coming undone. For the money, I don't think they are good value at all.

I have used this shoe for years; normally buy at store 60 miles away, but sometimes online. I generally keep one pair ahead to have a new clean pair when needed. So I ordered these and made the mistake of putting them away without trying them on. Now that I have started to use them they simply don't feed right. The toe box is tighter than before and my orthotics don't feel the same. They are not the comfortable shoe I can wear all day, every day. Very disappointed in myself for not trying on immediately and in the apparent change in the sizing of the shoe.

I have worn New Balance for years. Because there is not a New Balance store where I currently live, I decided to order on line. The first pair was too short so I sent them back. I ordered the next size up in a wide. They are not fitting properly either but I have not received credit for the first pair so I am reluctant to send them back until I do. It has been almost two weeks since I sent them back and UPS shows them received two days after I shipped them! I need a good walking shoe but I may have to go elsewhere for a different brand due to this. My feet are hard to fit as I have a very high instep and need a wider toe and the stability that New Balance gives. They are quick to ship and charge credit card, but not quick to return the money.

I wanted to use these shoes for every day. Since they're leather, I might have to break them in a little bit because they are really snug on my feet compared to my 880s which are fabric.

I was trying to replace my beloved 4-year-old 812 walking shoes. This model has too built up a heel and disturbs my balance. I have since discovered the model 813 which is a perfect replacement, making me feel as though I'm walking on the level. The 928v3 is going to Good Will, a practically-unused gift for someone who likes that type of heel.

Have worn New Balance 928 shoes for years and loved them. My new pair, however, has a design change: the tongue is no longer all leather but instead is the same hard-to-clean fabric that's also around the ankle. Dirt accumulates on the shoe tongue, and that fabric does not clean well at all. I am disappointed and will not buy this style again.

I did not have the footbed support needed for walking. I use Orthotics and need to removed the cushy insert and the basic footbed is too thin!

The shoe is well made but the box toe area is quite narrow and the entire shoe is very narrow. I have a narrow foot to begin with so I was surprised it fit so small on me. I normally a size 7 1/2 but always order 8 for extra room but even the 8 1/2 was too small for me. I may get the 9 wide. Not sure though. It is a hard shoe so it offers good support throughout but order size up or two.

The fit in leather has been the problem for me. I have wide feet, and where I could buy other New Balance mesh shoes in Wide, I would have had to buy a WW to even come close to a fit. The footbed seems to be a medium, not wide.

These shoes tip my feet to the inside. They do have a comfortable feel but make my feet hurt in a short time .

I like that it's wide width .The shoes has a good streach . I don't like that it's not have a cushion insole and it's hard inside . It's also a heavy shoe. For the price I paid I expected a more comfortable shoe.

First, this V3 is a very nice shoe. However, the original 928 V2 was renown for its' wide toe box and narrow and snug heel. No longer. They are producing it now with a narrower toe box and the same narrow heel. The wide toe box and narrow heel is what I needed and experienced in my first pair of 928s. So I'm super disappointed, now I have to start looking all over again as I did the first time I fell upon the great 928 several years ago. So Sad.

These fit and are supportive and plenty of toe room but so stiff on top and all over that my sensitive feet cannot try to break them in even with custom orthotics. I need cushioning and more flexibility for comfort. Had to return.
