My podiatrist recommended New Balance walking shoes many years ago because I do a lot of walking. He recommended buying two pairs and switching off and on wearing one pair one day and the other pair the next day. That way I only need to buy shoes once a year. One pair of shoes worn every day wear out in about six months. In six months, the cost could go up again. I finally found the right style after some unsure purchases. I used to shop in all the local stores that carried New Balance shoes. It was a tremendous trial and very time consuming. I finally found out how to shop online. I always use this style. The color may change depending on what is available. I think because of the problem with merchandise being stuck on ships at some ports because of the problem with truck drivers either striking or not enough of them, I had to wear my last pair about 1 years. I love my New Balance shoes and wouldn't wear anything else. Style 982 V3 are the best and fit so well. My personal tip: When you buy new shoes don't wear a new pair all day for the first few days or a week so you can break them in gently and your feet won't hurt.

Nothing compares to my New Balance 928s. I have a hard to fit foot and was d delighted when i found these years ago. I have worn black ones for many years at my old job. But now I wanted something besides black or white. I had tried an ortho brand of sneakers and they hurt after 2 hours... my knee hurt after 3! I was happy to see the 928 available in the blue and grey! They are simply the best! I put them on right away and can go all day in them! No tired aching feet... no sore knee! Thank you New Balance for coming out with a different color on these and maintaining your quality! I would love to see more colors come out in the 928!!

I have a pronation issue and Plantar fascia. The New Balance line of products with the Roll bar and motion control Specifications keep me walking. I have worn New Balance daily for the last 20 years and recommend them to anyone with foot issues.

I e been buying this shoe for several years now. I get a new pair every spring. I don't have flat feet, but the roll bar seems to stabilize my knees and hips. Only tennis shoe I can wear. Any other new balance shoe makes my knees hurt.

I have bought this shoe because I had another in white and I really liked it.

I walk at least three miles a day six days a week. I have wide feet and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever used and the only kind I've bought for the past ten years. The support has also helped prevent lower back pain while walking.

I have trouble finding wide shoes that I can wear all day without pain or discomfort. These shoes do not hurt my feet at all! The white is quite bright, but I am not wearing them to be stylish.

Size fits true and has a very stable sole. The shoe is a godsend for my supination, and has also decreased leg pain

I buy two pairs of these every year for my daughter to wear at work (a white and black). The shoes are the only ones that provide her adequate support and stability for her arch issue and the roll ball prevents her from rolling her ankles. They cost a little more, but for my money they are worth every penny.

These are great shoes if you have foot problems and need the support. My feet still hurt but in theory I guess they feel better than they would without them. I had to contact customer service twice about an issue. I received a return text the NEXT day. I think I was on hold the first time around 45 minutes but was on hold the second time for an hour and 20 minutes and the guy couldn't help me. He was not friendly and I was really frustrated that I wasted all of my time for absolutely nothing. Don't expect any help once you finally get through to customer service.

I wear them just about every day. I feel so great when I have a new pair! I am a part time cashier and on my feet a lot of the time. I am 64 and an active grandma! I enjoy life and these walkers help me so much!!!

this is a good quality shoe but not for me. Sure wish you would make more styles available in the XX wide. bee a customer of New Balance for years but cant find any available in a 6 1//2 xxwide.

I am a postal employee and I got these for work. I had previously been getting a version that new balance made for the postal services uniform program but they've discontinued that version. This one is similar except that is is not a non skid shoe. I knew that going in, but otherwise it is very comfortable. I am on my feet all day, and at the end of the day I can say my feet do not bother me.
