Loved the color of the suede, ran very narrow and small

This was the style I needed and wanted to love it. However, the right shoe had a hard, rigid piece along the inner edge that made the shoe unwearable. Had to return.

The bottom had a cheap, smooth, synthetic bottom with no protection from slippery surfaces. I returned them. Very disappointing that for the price they were made very cheaply.

Cute shoes, just too tight on my feet. I was also leary how well the suede-like material would hold up against nicks from casual wear. Too much $$$ to take the chance of being uncomfortable and noticibly damaged.

Love the look but even though they were narrow, my foot slipped right out as I walked!

While unpacking i noticed the zipper pull missing. I never got to try on the shoe because i was unable to properly open the zipper

Runs very large. The heel made a lot of noise when walking on tile or wood. I was disappointed overall.

This boot is sooo stiff , i am returning it.

I have a pair of Softwalk booties in another color/fabric and love them. I was so surprised at the poor quality of the black suede. It was shiny and had a distressed look, much different than the picture on the website.

Cute cowboy heel bootee but the front top of shoe banged into my ankle/shin area with each step-ouch. I ordered 10&1/2W and they were a little too roomy. I wear a 9&1/2W in open toe shoe and 10W in others. With my insoles the cowboy heel is very comfortable on my plantar fasciitis and hip soreness I get because I baby my right foot which has the PF. Love Zappos return policy.

Very disappointed! I bought this same boot from Zappos in 2018 and I loved it! After a lot of use, they wore out so I decided to order another pair. Unfortunately, the quality has significantly decreased! The pair I ordered in 2018 was a lovely, plush black suede. This time, the suede was the thickness of fine grain sand paper. It was so thin that you could actually see through it in spots. To make matters worse, I ordered a 7.5 Wide and they sent me a 7.5 Extra-Wide.

These boots were very cute but very uncomfortable

Fit my hard-to-fit feet perfectly, which was worth the price. Boots did not hold up well, though. I had to replace them after one season... in a moderately dry winter California climate. I was seriously unhappy with the quality. The heels peeled within a few wears, and the edges frayed quickly.

These boots are comfortable and the leather is soft. The footbed cushioning and arch support are great. However, I should have taken a previous review more seriously. The leather strips that cover the heel are coming off after just a few wearings. Very disappointing.

This was a replacement for a pair I have had for two years but this new pair has a shiny toe and shiny areas on the heel. So I am regrettably returning. The same shininess was on a second pair in a different size so I don't think it was just a single defect.

Boots were nice, comfortable, but worn already. The heel suede was matted down and there were marks on the side. Customer service told me I could return them, which of course I did. What a bother. I ordered the same boots, different color from Softwalks. Softwalks sent me new ones, not used ones. I'll keep those.

Love Softwalks and this style, but as others have mentioned, the wood-look heel material is completely unfinished. Rough to the touch and will certainly come apart at the first hint of rain. Returning and really disappointed! Hope they can do this style again with a better finish on the heel trim.

These were WAAAAAAAY too narrow. I typically order a wide, but decided to order these in an extra wide given that I would be wearing them with thick socks and wanted to have plenty of room. When the shoes arrived I tried them on with a very thin gym sock. The fit was so narrow I had to check the box to ensure I didn’t mistakenly order a regular width, but they were marked extra wide. I’ve never, ever ordered an extra wide that wasn’t roomy even with thick socks. Love Zappos quick shipping & easy returns!

I was excited to find these shoes in a 10.5 narrow. Sadly, the heel of the shoe is not a narrow. When taking a step, my heels slipped and would have rubbed had I kept the shoes. Sending them back today.

These have a crazy amount of arch support that feels almost like a rock. I have normal arches and these shoes hurt. I sent them back right away.
