I'm a sucker for a great patent loafer. I loved the black so much that i just ordered the red. Feminine and so comfortable, right out of the box.

The fit is perfect. These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn!! No need to break them in as they feel great the first time wearing them!! I also have them in navy blue which is a hard color to find in a loafer.

A truly beautiful loafer. High quality and totally classic. Unfortunately they were too wide for me ( I have a narrow foot) and I had to send them back.

Beautiful loafer. Hate to send it back. Love it. I have tried multiple sizes in the same shoe. 9 1/2 wide was too short and 10 was too long and narrow.

The color was more butterscotch than color shown.

Minimally large, and gorgeous patent.

These shoes are lovely and well made but felt too loose and slightly too wide. Being leather, I believe they will only get more loose so sadly I need to return them.

Love the shoe. Patent leather is very chic and can be worn with many different outfits. Style shows off the ankle, the top of the foot and enhances the length. Excellent construction. BUT the shoe is too narrow for me. No wide width is available so I ordered 8.5 a half size up. That still was not wide enough and ended up being too long. Patent leather does not give and I have to return. So sad.

Gorgeous, well-made shoe. I am an 8 1/2-9 M in everything, usually a 9, with a slightly narrow foot, and I need room across the ball of the foot so as not to aggravate a neuroma. This felt, and looked, a half size too long and I walked out of it with every step. I do think it would be too narrow in a smaller size. Will look for a Marc Joseph in a different style.

I own other similar Marc Joseph shoes and the nice quality of these are no different. My feet are a bit wide, but I thought I'd take a chance with these. Alas, too narrow and I do not think they will stretch enough with wear. I highly recommend them, however.

The shoe itself is beautiful. Very well made. It fit nicely on toe box, but too loose on heel.

Just a tad too snug in both length and width, I would simply exchange for a half-size larger if not for one hang-up of mine: the high-gloss shine. On someone else, I would say it looked like a great shoe, but I just cannot get into shiny. I know this shoe comes in patent leather, but it never crossed my mind that a "pebble" texture would be so shiny. Does not look that way in the pics; in person it is so glossy as to look like plastic. A horrible shame as it is a very well constructed shoe at a great price.

Shoe gaps on sides

The length of these shoes were fine but when I walked the sides of the shoes bent out, making them appear too wide and like they'd get looser over time. The arch and soles were very comfortable so this is disappointing.

Felt big

The shoes are well made and comfortable but way to wide in the heel for me. I do have narrow heels so they may fit someone else fine.

I liked the style and the fit but the shoes squeaked and flared out at the sides. Wish I could keep but sending them back because of the squeak and flare

I wanted to love these, but as other reviews have stated they bag at the sides, which makes them too big. My foot kept sliding right out at the heel. I wish they fit true to size and were not so wide. I had to sadly return.

The shoe has a traditional loafer look, but I found it uncomfortable. I ordered my usual 10B, and the heel of the shoe left a huge gap between my foot and the back of the shoe. I am used to a small gap on my heel, which I compensate for with orthotics, but this was way too big. A smaller size would have cramped my toes. I also prefer a much softer feel with slip-on shoes. Instead I kept a higher quality pair from this same order. Sorry, but these shoes didn’t work for me.

Also, the shoes were too shiny making them look cheap. Beautiful loafers look. Traditional.

I ordered the mint green color, which was really pretty. The shoe ran a little small, however, and when I walked in them, the sides flared out.

This shoe is much lighter in color than it appears online. It is not aubergine. It's a medium to bright purple. It would have looked better and dressier if the color had been deeper purple. They do feel a little loose. I can wear them without socks. They're just okay.

I just walked around on carpet a few minutes but it was not comfortable.
