The quality of these boots as far as construction and materials is great. However, they are currently on their way back to Sperry. I had trouble getting my foot in the boot and once in, the lining was a bit sparse. I wanted these to slip on easily to wear for dog walking. There was no way they were ever going to be suitable for that. I thought the side zipper was going to be convenient, instead it made the boot too hard to get into for someone with high arches. The throat of the leather upper was way too narrow. So, if you can get your foot in, I'm sure they are very nice. By the way, I tried with no socks and a thin sock - neither was good so forget thick socks. I wear an 8 M to W normally, so went true to size based on other reviews. Wide was not available, in fact I was told the boot was not being restocked. Medium usually is fine for me in a boot because my feet aren't super wide, but these would definitely have been better for me in an 8.5.

My review has nothing to do with the shoe, but with Zappos, who clearly needs better quality control. I paid full price for someones dirty returns. Gross!!!! What a waste of time.

One shoe had a cushioned sole and the other did not so it maKes it incredibly aWkward to walk On for a whole day, and the rubber toe area is slightly tOght in height so it makes it feel as if Your feet are cold Sometimes. However, THEY'RE great shoes and with new insoles they're super comforTable. I wear them all the tIme. Also in my opinion better than ll bean because You dont have to Tie them.

I bought these boots excited to wear them in the always changing weather of MA. I was throughly disappointed when I wore them. My feet were cold from the cold ground but more importantly they got wet. My feet weren't soaked but they were wet. I was simply walking from class to class on a cold rainy day in Ma. I love the look and the comfort of them, so this really just disappointed me.

I was drooling over These boots for months and trying to find an informative reView on sizing with no luck. A few i found said they ran small so i ordered a size up as i planNed to wear them with thick socks. I am always a sperry 9 but went with a 10. The 10's were tough to get on but once on, were huge, even with huge thIck, wool socks on! I EXchAnged for a 9 and could barely get them on! Once they were on they were perfect in lengh but super narrow and tight on the top of my foot. (And i even have narrow feet!) I kePt them in hopes they are like all my other sperrys and stretch out to fit my foot perfectly. If i wasn't such a loyal sperry bUyer and obsessed with these boots, i would have went with a Different brand in a similar style. I have since worn them a few times and they are getting a bit better.
My boots dO have a couple air pockets in the rubber which is concerning and the 10's were wOrse so i'm hoping i dont have any problems with that in the future.
Excuse the lack of capitalization where needed... Sperry makes the review All caps Until its posted.

I love these boots. Last winter, I wore them almost every day. They are so comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry in the snow. They are stylish and go with any outfit. That being said, within one year of normal wear and tear they are already falling apart. The rubber is splitting and ripping on the top, causing my feet to get wet in the rain/snow. The laces are falling apart as well. I love these boots, I am just disappointed they weren't made to last more than one year.

Very nice shoe! Great for mildly cool weather with little snow or rain! Would suggest or even buy again!

my duCk boots are great. I love how warm they are, but the toPs of my arches are crushed by the rubber part. It fits true to size. Im normAlly 8.5 in all shoes, i Ordered a 9 because everyone said they run small. They definitely do not as far as length, but i am glad i have the size 9 pair because i think the 8s miGht have been worse for my arches. I also wish they would get the wool version back. I really wanted the gray wool ones but they discontinued them. OveRall a good Choice for winTer in the mountains though.

I love these shoes, theyre very Warm and comfy. My issue is with my left shoe there was a small Bump in the sole that pushed against my foot and caused a lot of pain, i had to put a cushion underneath the sole to stop this. Also, the back of my left shoe rubs on my fOot weird. Both of the shoEs are slightly narrow Near the toes And RUb A bit but other than that grEat shoes.

I have a narrow foot and these work pretty good, not perfect. Very comfortable from the start. Love the black on black color. They are stylist but practical for snow, ice, hiking and farming.

These boots are really fashionable and functional. Really warm and cozy, yet they look cute with lots of outfits. They have great arch support and heel support as well.

Not good for temperatures below freezing. I found the boots very comfortable, and they are great for rainy days or melting snow. However, they are not lined for warmth, and the rubber gets very cold quickly. I wore them when the temperature was in the 30s and was fine. I tried to wear them with thick wool socks when the temperature was 10 degrees, and my feet were extremely cold within 15 minutes. They run a little narrow, which is true for all Sperry top-sider shoes I've owned. They are true to size in length.

I am normally a 7.5 US, I bought these is a size 7 as the 8 was huge. I have to wear them with normal socks. If you want think socks or a sherling insole go up a size. Although when I tried to do that I had about an inch of room up by my toes. Also not warm enough on their own for a Toronto winter.

I've had these boots for years in the Tan/Green, but the lining is starting to get thin and the bottoms are losing their grip. I came back to purchase another pair but the Tan/Green are no longer available:( Hopefully they will be restocked soon! Great product, I will definitely purchase them again. I went one size up so I could wear thick socks, perfect fit now.

I got these because I wanted to be able to take my toddler out in the snow...and look stylish doing it! So far I've worn them in snow and slush; in the yard and out to shop. They're comfortable and not too bulky. I did get a size larger to accommodate thicker socks. The only downside I've experienced at all is that my toes seem to get cold after going in the snow. I'm not sure whether that's a shoe issue or a sock issue. Either way, it hasn't really hampered me from using them as I intended.

the boots themselves are super cute, and totally waterproof, but not warm at all, and the grips on the soles might as well be non-existent

The fit was just okay (a little narrow). The problem was defective zippers which would not zip. The soles of the boots appeared to be very slightly worn.

I was so looking forward to receiving this Saltwater Duck Boot, but I had a difficult time getting a good fit. At first, I ordered a 9 1/2 which which is normatlly what I order when I want a little extra room. However, even with the side zipper unzipped, I couldn't get my foot inside the boot. I returned to try a size 10. I was so excited when they arrived. It was still a little tight getting my foot into the boot, and even though I was able to get my foot in this time, it was way too big, even with a medium to heavy weight sock. I thought maybe I needed to give the 9 1/2 another shot, but the blue and brown was sold out. Quality does appear to be outstanding the boot well made.

The boots came scuffed in one area. I was told by an employee in chat to get a half size smaller. Ok I did what he told me. These boots are huge on me. I shouldn't have to wear extra socks for a hundred dollar pair of boots to fit correctly. I normally wear a 9. I need an 8.

Have had this style for years, and wanted to replace. New ones are about half a size shorter, and zipper is also shorter. Too hard to get onto my foot. Will return and buy the L L Bean boots.

Shoes are very comfortable and keep water out, but once they are wet I am slipping and sliding all over the place. I was hoping that these would be a good water resistant work shoe for me as I am a dog groomer and tend to get soaked at work, but with having next to no traction once the shoes get wet it just isn't going to work out. Definitely do NOT recommend if you are looking for shoes with good traction.

Love the look of the boot; however it is difficult to get on. It is gradually easing up but it has taken several tries working to get this easy to put on my foot..
