These boots were exactly what was needed for this year's crazy California winter weather. Thank you Zappos, for making the purchase so easy.

I would LOVE to keep these boots, except ... I need arch support and hoped the reviews of "moderate" support would prove good enough. Not so. They're going back, with regret, because I really like how they look. They're a little hard to put on and take off, but that alone wouldn't have made me send them back. The tread is pretty interesting - like little "feelers" instead of big cutouts. Curious how that would've worked in the snow/ice.

I liked how these fit (true to size) and overall they were fine. The color I got I thought was going to be more black than grey though, so I ended up returning them.

I always get 10w and with these I had to get 9.5M. These are very comfortable. I got these on a friend’s recommendation after trying the LLBean version and finding them so uncomfortable I couldn’t imagine walking even half a block. Others I tried in this brand were just as awful as the Beans, but there are great.

They are true to size (maybe slightly on the larger end since I'm between a 10 and 10.5 and the 10 fit well). They're really cute, comfy and warm but I can't comment on the waterproofing yet. They seem like they'll be good for snow and slush in the city, while still being walk-able unlike my tall rubber rainboots and bigger snow boots for huge snowstorms. I like them!

I really do like the shoes except the laces. I know the twisted ends were supposed to be cute but they made putting on the shoe impossible even with the book unzipped. Once I was able to undo the twists and loosen the laces, the boots felt pretty good. I usually bounce between size 9 and 8.5. I chose 9 and I’m happy I did. The shoes are little to big but 8.5 would have been too tight.

These run a half size big to me. They are adorable in my hand but just look huge on my feet. Sending them back for a 6.5. The are lined with what I figure to be insulate, very comfortable. They are plenty wide which probably added to what I felt was the shoe being too big with my narrow foot. I normally wear a 7, occasionally a 6.5. The laces are supposed to be work as is, untied. I couldn’t figure how to undo the coil and the raw leather would get work pretty quickly if you tried to tie them every time. If you are interested in tying them, better swap out the laces. All and all I am looking forward to my replacement pair for rainy days and muddy soccer fields.
