Great boots for a petite person. I am 5'2 and these boots are a perfect height for me. (Most boots hit me by my knees and look a little sloppy.) Can't believe how many compliments I get when I wear them. Comfortable. I have the cognac color and feel they have a classy look to them.

This is a beautiful cowboy boot but not made for my feet. Tox box wasn't tall enough and it was too narrow.

Not true to size at all. I’m a 7.5 and these feel like 6.5. I’m ordering a 8.5 and hoping for the best.

Love these boots, I am a size 6.5 and they fit perfect and they were the perfect shaft height for me being only 5'2 so many are too tall. Would recommend highly. 5 stars, yay.

Based on other reviews, I ordered up half a size. Perfect fit with thinner boot socks. I took an 8½ instead of my usual 8. These look and feel more expensive than they are. They are a great color. I pair them with skinny jeans or black jeggings for work. This was a great buy!

I absolutely love these boots. The reviews recommended going a size larger - I typically wear 8-8½ and I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly. They are exactly the color and style that I wanted, and I get lots of compliments!

I love these boots! I normally wear a 7.5 and these fit a bit too snug with thick socks BUT these boots are actually comfortable enough to wear without socks right out of the box. You will love them!

I have been looking for the perfect riding boots for ages, and I am thrilled to have found them! The zipper works, making it easy to get in and out of these boots, and the leather is lovely. I bought the chocolate color, and they are very pretty. They are super comfortable right out of the box! I have slightly wide feet, and these fit just fine, as all Steve Madden shoes do for me. Also, I wear either a 8 or 8½, and in these I bought a 8½ after trying both in store. They are perfect. I have fairly big calves and these have just enough room too wear tights without making the tops of my calves look sausage-y. There is a vent that allows for even more room, but I am not sure that I will push it with much more than leggings for now.

Great boot! I'm a runner and dancer, which means large calves, these boots have plenty of room in the shaft. Perfect for so many occasions, dressed up or down. Good travel boot with easy on an off at TSA screenings. Love the gold hardware on the heel and have gotten plenty of compliments. Rich, warm cognac/luggage color boot.

The other reviews made me worry these would be too narrow, but they are so cute I ordered them anyway in my regular size, and I was not disappointed. My feet are fairly wide across the toes, and while I would describe these as snug, they are completely comfortable. I wore them for 10 hours today, and my feet didn't hurt at all, and I got a ton of compliments from everyone. I did wear them with tights, though. If I wanted to wear them with thick socks I'd have to go up a size. I'm always wary of brown leather, too, because if the color's not just right it can look really cheap, but these look expensive, and the leather is very soft, supple and smooth. I love the wrap-around ankle strap and the gold detail on the heel. These might be my new favorite pair of shoes!

Fabulous! Runs small; I wear a 9-9.5, but wearing size 10. The leather is not shinny but it is more peached. Very nice style boot!

these are ALMOST perfect. I love everything about them besides the fact the leather slouch down especially at the top. It makes them look frumpy and cheap. Will be returning them

I usually wear at 7.5 shoe. But I know boots usually run small, so I purchased a size 8. They were so tight I could barely zip them and I could barely squeeze my foot into them period. It would have been impossible to wear them over skinny jeans. I know this is not your fault at Zappos, but on top of the shoe not fitting the shoe itself did not house the quality of a boot at this price. For about half you can get a great boot from Two Lips. I recommend trying this shoe on stores, because normally I love Steve Madden shoes.

I am returning these because I have never had a pair of leather boots that had such a horrible smell. I left them in my garage for a couple of weeks to see if the smell would subside and it is still as strong. It is more of a chemically treated smell.

These do run small. I am a 9.5 or 10 and chose to get the 10. I have to wear thin socks otherwise these feel too small. Very uncomfortable breaking in, but that could have just been because they felt too small the first few times I wore them. To be honest, the leather feels (and looks) very cheap considering the price. I am very tall (5'11") but these were shorter than I anticipated. Overall I would not recommend them and wish I could return them considering how much I paid...I do not plan on wearing them much.

These are so cute but I couldn't even get my foot in them. I do have a foot on the wider side but nothing abnormal and it hurt just trying to get It on. Also the leather seemed a little cheap for the price. Still would have kept them if they fit because of the cute details.

These boots look very, very cheap.

The material is very soft and the leather smells wonderful. However… the red dye faded unevenly to splotchy red/pink/dark red after one wear.
