Very similar feel to the 1080s. Softer and a little higher stack than I usually go for with a daily trainer, but good for a longer run for me. On the other hand, my first 8mi run in them ended up being pretty snappy, so good early signs!

I just went on my first run with the Ellipse. It was a comfortable shoe with lots of bounce and cushion. After a 30 minute run I didnt notice the shoe loosen and it snug just as I had tied it from the beginning. I found it easy to set the tension of the laces, sometimes it is easy to over tighten shoes. I will continue to wear these, i normally wear a stability shoe so I will keep and eye out for any differences. As a whole I love the style and fit! Roomy fit did not feel cramped in these shoes.

Love them, comfortable fit love that the toe box is wide and my toes have ample room during a jog, the reactive foam sole is nice on the foot! Its also really supportive which is very important to me as a big man.

For me it is an extremely comfortable shoe. I do mostly walking and is like walking on a cloud. I have several color fresh foam More shoes and love them, but this pair is my new favorite. Thinking about buying another color. Wish There were mor color choices in extra wide.

The recovery day shoe for the everyday runner. The shoe with the looks to be worn well after the run. A cant be missed recovery and style shoe.

Bought these a couple weeks ago and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They are very supportive and the sole is very grippy. Would highly recommend!

Have wide feet but still got the normal width and it fit well. Very light and comfortable, feels good to walk, jog or run on it. Good colorways as well.

Smooth ride perfect for daily miles. The midsole foam sinks in just enough for comfort, but remains firm enough to keep you rolling along. On pavement and gravel, the shoe lets you bound along without thinking about whats on your feet. The upper is very well cushioned, but a bit rigid out of the box. Looking forward to it breaking in just a touch. So far Ive only used the shoe for daily easys, but I think it would handle even 20 mile long runs well. Probably not my first choice for speed work, but I think a few strides would feel great. Overall, Im a fan. Im even considering making the Ellipse my default shoe on Strava (a big deal for a shoe head like me).

After running in the Ellipse during my 5 mile run, my overall impression was positive. I felt the sneaker has adequate support like a trainer, relatively light weight, but provides good response when I picked up the pace. There is plenty of room in the toe box to allow for any sweling during longer runs. I view the Ellipse as a solid trainer that will hold up well during a long run and still provide the responsivness you would want if you want to throw in some strides or even a tempo run.

These are the best shoes my husband has ever had. They are truly like walking on a cloud so supportive and comfortable.
