After trying on about 5 pairs of Clarks shoes and 3 pairs of boots, finally one fit. I love these. I am a true 11 wide. I need the toes to actually be wide and round, not in that almond shape of so many shoes, even when they are called wide. Finally I found a pair with an actual wide fit in the toes. I can even wear thicker warm socks with these. Usually I have to wear those light trouser socks if I can even get the boot to sort of fit, which totally negates the point of wearing boots in the winter cold weather. I ordered these in black. I love them so much that I think I will order the other two colors, just because finding boots that fit my wide feet has been a life-long process and one in which I am rarely, if ever successful. I might add that I have had 4 foot operations so I can’t wear tight-fitting shoes. If you have wide feet and need a true wide toe box, you will love these. I also like the sort of jungle urban look.

I thought the size 8.5 W was appropriate. Unfortunately I have chronic plantar fasciitis in one foot and could not get comfortable insert to work in this shoe.

These boots are adorable and super comfortable. At first, as other reviewers have mentioned, they were stiff around the ankle. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and they already started to break in. They ARE leather so of course they’re going to be a bit stiff at first. I’ve since worn them about 3-4 times and they are so comfortable to walk in…..they are more comfortable than my slippers!!!! The fit was perfect, the look is super cool with jeans. And, they keep my feet warm. I had them on yesterday when the temperature was 1 degree (no that’s not a typo). To be fair, I’m not hiking or spending a lot of time outside walking. I don’t think these are hiking boots. But for winter foot wear running around doing errands in wet slipping parking lots…they are perfect for me.

These are very stylish and comfortable. Arch support is good. I ordered an 8 wide. This gives my toe area the room I need for my bunion without also widening the heel so my heel doesn’t slip. Only reason for 4 stars overall, is they scuff very easily. I am around dogs that love to step on my feet, so needless to say, I am constantly cleaning these shoes.

These boots felt a half size smaller than marked. Even with the round toe, my toes felt squeezed. I did feel that the width would stretch out after some wear, but there is no guarantee so I returned them. This is a first for me with Clark's. They've always fit my feet in the past (10+ years).

These were clearly mismarked by at least 2 sizes. The fit my daughter whose feet are much smaller than mine but she didn't like the style so back to Zappos they go.
