The velcro strap on this shoe stopped working after 3 weeks, rendering the shoes unwearable. Total waste of money.

The Velcro quit working after a couple months!

My kids have been wearing this brand of shoes for over five years. This is the first one that the Velcro has lasted less than one month. Very disappointing.

Velcro stopped working to close the shoes already and just bought them!

Velcro closures broke on both shoes three weeks into wearing them. I do not recommend.

Only 2 months of use and the velcro on one is no longer sticking, and the shoe pops off of child's shoe when being active.

The Velcro straps will not adhere to each other already. It’s been about a month of being worn. Quite possible the worst shoe that I have bought for my little. 100% do NOT buy.

Loved them. Then the Velcro stopped working in a couple of weeks. Just like the other reviews say. Is anyone listening ? Luckily Zappos still let me return them for a credit.

The velcro stopped sticking on the straps within a month so my daughter couldn’t wear them anymore. I would not purchase these shoes again.

My 5 year old has a high instep, so the extra-wide really helps with comfort. Unfortunately; New Balance KEEPS using cheap velcro. So we have an otherwise perfectly good pair of sneakers that's useless after only two months because the straps absolutely wont stay fastened and they fall off his feet!

Little guy has wide feet, so I ordered wide width. They were way too narrow. He says they feel really tight on the sides. I compared them to his other wide width New Balances and they look noticeably narrower! Kiddo loves the design on the shoe, but we will have to return and find other shoes that fit better.
