I show up in these gorgeous , comfortable boots wearing full seat breeches at my top dressage barn in California I've known for my good taste in clothes and picking great horses.

I went to a store to look for my first pair of boots. Liked the look of the Legend boots and they fit great. Wore them all day today and one would think I had them for months, they are ready to go right from the start. Happy with my choice.

I received my fat baby boots about a week ago and I started wearing them immediately out to the barn to care for all the animals: horses, goats, and dogs. We live on a slope so I needed a boot that was comfortable like a sneaker. Every time I go out to the animals it's like hiking. I normally wear a size 6, but as with sneakers, I ordered a size to a size and a half larger because your feet need room to swell when they are heated up. I orders a 7.5 wide and they are perfect! They are super comfortable and the tan color I got is the same color as our dusty, dry Colorado mountain dirt. I need to buy some long socks to wear with them so the sides of the boots don't rub my legs. For now I'm wearing my ski socks and they work just fine, although they're a little warm. I would definitely buy another pair. They are excellent! Thanks Ariat!

I bought my pair a couple weeks ago. They arrived right on my birthday, which is fun to wear them out. Absolutely love them and they fit great, still breaking them in. Love Ariat brand!!

Bought these for riding. Great all around boot. So glad they have wide sizes. They fit like a glove right out of the box.

I've had 3 pairs. They last me for about 3-4 years. I have 2 pairs right now. My old pair for working around the house and of site and for bow season and a pair I use for dressy casual. They feel like a pair of socks to me. They're light, rustic, and break in easily. I keep them oiled with mink oil and apply it with a panit brush. Then set them in the sun for a few hours. The people complaining just got defective boots. I would buy 10 pairs and store them if I could. I would truly be upset if they discontinued this boot. I wear and 11d

I bought a pair of these in 2013 or 2014. Best all around boot purchase I've made. They have held up to every wet, mud encrusted, stall mucking, calf roping, trail ride or challenge event I have put them through. But when the day is done they still clean up for a night of double 2 steppin on the town. Gotta LOVE These Boots!!

I bought these six months ago and where them everyday in all conditions. Snow, mud, dirt, rain etc. They have literally gone through quite a lot and have covered a lot of ground. And yet they have very little wear and tear and are exceptionally comfortable. Practical on the ground and practical in a saddle. I'm genuinely impressed. I will get another pair of these any day!

Wearing them for 'bout a month, nothing to say, just perfect.

To be honest, I haven't yet worn this hiking but so far I can tell they are excellent quality. The sole is very sturdy. They are also attractive compared to a lot of boots of this type. I'm excited to really put them to use.

I have been buying a for over 7 plus years I have every color except the grey / serape dusk which I would love to have but they are not in stock . Do they even make that color any more love to know

I have a pair of slip on Ariat boots that I've worn for years. Unfortunately, I sustained a severe ankle injury that has since been fused. I can no longer slip on my boots due to the limited range of motion. I've kept them for the memories-a connection to the adventures no longer possible. I needed a hiking boot that would provide maxium comfort and stability. Ariat was my first choice. I purchased the lace up Terrain and am so grateful I found them. The ankle support, superior footbed and overall quality allows me to expand my world with a sense of confidence. Thank you Ariat.

I bought two pairs of these boots. One was an 8.5 and the other is an 8. I did this so I could still wear thick fuzzy socks in the winter and still be comfortable. I cannot believe how comfortable they are, straight out of the box. I put them on as soon as they arrived and promptly went to feed the calves and the flock of chickens. Then, I had to haul water. Haul feed, and I am doing this in wet grass, mud, and a brand new pair of boots. Zero blisters, zero bruises from "breaking them in" they were just comfortable and warm. They didn't slide when I walked downhill on wet grass. I am not the most stable person when balance is concerned and I rely on my boots to dig in and keep me from sliding. I was loyal to another brand of boots, but these were highly recommended and I will never go back to that other brand. Having an actual sole on the boots that will dig in instead of sliding is HUGE. I can finally do all of my animal chores without having to worry about slipping and falling. Ariat, please make this sole available as an option for all of your boots. I would love to get the black and purple pair but the soles wouldn't stand a chance. I would love a cute brown pair, but again, the soles have zero grip and they would not stand a chance. Traction is a necessity and it would be nice to be able to choose the sole for each boot.

Love this boot. I hike every day with my dogs and needed something waterproof and to support my ankle. Exactly what I needed.
