I will soon order a new pair of the Waterproof Terrain Boot just so I can have a new color! I have many other pairs of Ariat boots; western style "Cowboy boots", Fat Babies, English Paddock boots-lace and zip, plus others. In the pull-on styles I wear a 10 due to my instep. But for all the lace-up models I buy a 9.5. These boots will not stay waterproof if you are walking across streams, etc, but they dry and wear like the water never phased the leather. If I am cleaning stalls, I spray them off with no damage to the leather. I would say the brea-in time is short...but I don't remember them not fitting like a glove on day one. I must mention that my current pair of of the Terrains have been in high-rotation use since 2015! They have a stirrup-safe sole with a slim spur-stop. They fit nicely under both Ariat and other brands of half chaps. I work in the film industry and am on my feet hours a day. These are my go-to shoes/boots for long work days. They are never hotter than other boots for use in the summer-(choose socks wisely), AND I have never had cold-feet when wearing cold weather socks. Another HUGE SELLING FEATURE of these boots...the amazing anti-microbial foot-bed NEVER GETS STINKY! What's up with that!? I have high end hiking boots, sport shoes, sneakers, etc that I will refresh with deodorizing spray after heavy use-but with these Ariats I never have to do that! Weird! But, a good weird!!!

I'm pleased I took the plunge and decided to try these boots....I'd been looking at lots of options, but liked the versatility of the Terrain. A riding, yard and walking boot and have proved to be ideal for each purpose!! Chose the 5.5 as I am between shoe sizes and the fit is perfect, plenty of width & toe room - worn straight from the box with no real need to 'break-in'. They look cute too!!

This is my first pair of Ariat boots and I will never buy any other brand! I wanted tough, functional boots that also express my pride in being an American, and these boots fit the bill perfectly! I work retail and I wear these boots every single day with no comfort issues, plus I get compliments all the time. And I can go straight from working at my job to working at my farm without changing boots! I can't wait to buy my next pair of Ariats!

I've had 3 pairs of these over the last few years. I walk through boot soles about once a year, but these hold up great, I'm a flatbed truck driver, as well as a part time groundskeeper and these have always been reliable no matter what I'm working on

Love! Perfect shaft height for my short legs (I'm 5'1"). Very comfortable toebox. The color is perfect.

Ariat continues to amaze me in the quality and comfort of their boots. The Heritage R boots were my 1st round toes in 25 year, as soon as I popped them on, I fell in love. The insole is incredible, great for all day activities. What truly makes me love them is how stylish these boots are, great finish and great quality. If you're looking to get back to the round toe game, these boots should be your go-to!

These boot are so comfortable and they last! I have a brown pair that has lasted me over 5 years and wanted a pair in black. Now I have 2 pair!! These boots are waterproof and mudproof! Just spray the hose on them and poof! They are looking brand new. I will definitely recommend these boots to anyone who needs a new pair of waterproof boots.

Comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy boot. Love the rainbow colors, too. The C width gives my toes plenty of room, glad to have that extra width.

I have been wearing these boots for many years and they hold up to what I put them through. I live on a farm and go through mud and sometimes water and they keep my feet comfortable all day.

These boots are made very well. I'm sure they will last for years. I own 10 pair of fat babies. It's fun choosing which pair to wear each day.

I love these boots so much! First time Ariat purchase and I'm so pleased! I got the wide and they fit my wide foot comfortably. They are durable and comfortable for every day wear. I am a teacher and on my feet most days. I get tons of compliments on these bad boys!

I really love the boots. The are beautiful and comfortable. I have wide feet so it is hard for me to find a boot that fits.

I love this boot. Second pair didn't last as long as my first pair, but each did last well over a year. I wore these every day for all kinds of yard & landscaping work as well as hikes w/ my dog. Mud, rain, snow... didn't matter these boots took all the punishment. I do wish they had more aggressive lugs on the sole. Would love to see that minor tweak.

The best investment for my feet ever for work and at home

Have always loved and worn the Terrain Boots for Trail riding and ranch work. When I saw them with the turquoise highlight/insert, just had to have them!!!!! Also the fit was perfect!

The first pair of Fatbaby boots I got for Christmas 9 years ago. The 2nd pair (this pair) I got for Christmas 2022. These are my fa favorite boots ever! The leather is amazing, and they have this magical quality that they seem to form around my feet perfectly each time I wear them. I really love both pairs, the pair w/ the turquoise color are really beautiful. Even my male doctor completely fell in love with them and bought a pair for his wife!

Quality leather and sole. Size 8.5 perfect in toe box. My heels are narrow, so I placed pedi-smart heel hugs on heels and have a perfect fit. Love my boots!

Bought a 1/2 size larger than I typically purchase to leave room for thick socks during the winter. Added insole since I am a narrow and B is the smallest size in these boots. LOVE THEM! So happy they were waterproof and so comfortable to wear all day the first day! Highly recommend these boots.

Perfection is all I am think of when it comes to these boots. Hands down the comfiest pair of anything I own in the foot department. They got broken in within a few days of all day wear. I love everything about them and I have bigger feet and bigger legs. I've never had a comfy pair of boots and these babies definitely did do the trick. Plenty of room for the toes too which I love. I did buy an additional pair of Fatbaby boots (a different variation) and they are just as great as these. Love 'em!

I've been looking for a boot like this one for some time now. This boot if perfect. Sturdy yet the most comfortable boot I have. I wear them almost every day.
