I've had my pair for 2 years and I've been pretty hard on them...I maybe waterproofed them once and they've been trudged through deep mud, wet sand, completely soaked, stepped on, etc etc...and theonlythingwrong isthat the leather is starting to crack! I'm getting another pair and giving them a bit more TLC...let's see how long my next pair lasts! :)

I got a pair last year for Xmas and I love them. I wear them to walk my dogs and then ride my horse.
Very comfy; feels like I'm wearing my running shoes. They run a half size bigger then you normally wear; I wear size 8 running shoe and got these in a 7½ - a little wide for my feet, but feels good. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I am totally impressed with these boots. I use them at the barn. I can wear them all day and they are extremely comfortable. I ride in them, and work around the barn in them and at the end of the day, my feet feel great. They run big. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear, and they fit well. I have nothing but good things to say about these boots and highly recommend them.

Love these shoes. Ariat brand is a favorite already but usually mules and cowboy style boots. These came quickly, fit great and didn't present any rub spots at the heel, toe or ankle which has been the problem with every other brand I tried. Well made, attractive enough that I've been wearing them on Friday casual days at work with my jeans to help break them in and were comfortable through 2 days of walking in TN early this month.

These are my favorite shoes to wear daily. I have trouble with blisters; I have been wearing these boots for years and they have never given me a single blister. They are well made, comfortable and good looking. They are also good for riding horses since they have a heel. Highly recommend.

Before I bought any Ariat Terrain boots I read the reviews. How could a boot be as comfortable as they said?! Well, believe it! I am "hooked" and now own several pair.

I bought these shoes for my youngest daughter. The fit and quality are great. My oldest daughter and I already own these in black. About 5 - 6 people at our barn also own them. We ride western and English and often spend very long days wearing these boots. They are great for riding and general barn work. Both western and English spurs fit on them. One daughter has flat feet and can still wear them. They have enough support for me at age 47.

This is my first pair of Ariat boots and I am very happy with them. I\'ve used them both for working at an ambulatory veterinary practice and hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and stayed comfortable the entire time. I did wind up buying them a half size smaller than I normally wear.

I love these. No break in time, and arch support is excellent if you get exactly the right size.

I wanted to like these so much. A friend recommended them highly, they’re beautiful, nice quality, and they felt great when I put them on with padding in all the right places. Unfortunately, I then stood up. The heel that I neglected to notice in the description is just too much for my plantar fasciitis-prone feet. My heels were hurting after thirty seconds of walking across the living room. I would love them otherwise! I ended up getting some Hi-Tecs instead.

I love these boots! I have been wearing them non-stop since the Midwest Christmas Eve blizzard. They keep my feet warm and dry even with sub-freezing temps and a foot of snow. I ordered a half size smaller based on other reviews and they fit great, even with thick raglan socks. I am very satisfied and highly recommend these boots.

When I bought these boots over 5 years ago, a narrow/AA width was available. Great boots for gardening and other messy jobs--very durable. Removable insoles for orthotics but reasonable arch support without them. However, you might want extra padding for warmth and/or comfort. I wear a half-size smaller in these boots than I do in Asics, but the same size as for Munro.

I loved this boot right out of the box. I put them on and wore them all night long putting up Christmas decorations. I did order a regular width based on the reviews. I normally need a wide, so this was a perfect fit. After shopping at Zappos, I hope never to have to go to the mall again for shoes!

I\'ve only had these boots a week or so, but they are very comfortable and satisfactory. However, the size was off. I usually wear a size 8. Because of previous reviews left by people warning me that these run big, I initially ordered a 7.5. Even this was too big and I had to return them. In the end, I settled with a 7. So, for me, they were a whole size larger than usual. Thank goodness for Zappos free postage return policy. Very pleased with the shoes and Zappos.

What I needed was a boot that was good around the stable/paddock and for riding. According to others reviewing on this shoe, it runs a full 1/2 size big. Thought that would work great for me because I use orthotics. Well, it was too large even with my orthotics. \r\n\r\nSo I ordered a 1/2 size down. This is the most comfortable boot for working around the stable and just as good for riding.

I have been looking for a good pair of paddock/riding boots, and have long admired these boots on other women. Now others can admire them on me! These are by far one of the most comfortable all-around ranch boots I've owned, and I have three pairs of Ariats. The weather being bloody hot in Tucson most of the time, I hate having hot feet. These are not a problem. The fit does run on the large size, so I ordered a half-size down as others recommended and they fit perfectly out of the box. I like the lacing system, too. It allows one to snug or loosen the bottom or top independently. Excellent ranch boot. Ariat does it again!

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I was actually looking for an all black shoe, but liked the two-tone colors on the Ariat Terrain and decided to give them a try. I loved them so much that I bought new pants just to match my new shoes! I like how they are lace-up style boots that are not so casual like hiking boots, but not so industrial like work boots. They are made with good quality leather that has a slightly distressed look (so you don't have to worry about any little scuffs) and has good support, but best of all is how comfortable the soles are.
