I have tried these Danskos in 40M, 40W, and 39W... and somehow none of them fit properly. My old Dansko 40M fit better, but their wooden foot beds are getting a little tough on my aging knees and ankles. I hoped XP's rubber/manmade foot bed would have a little more give. Unfortunately, the 39W were too short and the 40s were too long and quite loose in the heel and above the arch so that I sloshed around in them. I hate to say goodbye to Dansko, but they have apparently altered their last just enough to make them unwearable. Thanks Zappos for all the shipping and returning!

These were much smaller than expected. I ordered a size 42 and they felt like an 11. I wear a women’s size 12. They are lighter, but still clunky. I just can’t do a Dansko clog. I sent my pair back and went with a Clark’s brand shoe for half the price.

this new dansko traditional clog is a little lighter and the insole is somewhat softer but very much the same as the original. unfortunately, after 10 years of wearing the traditional dansko clogs for work, they no longer work. I began to experience pain in the ball of my feet and toes.always tried a new pair of dansko clogs every 10 monthrs but even a fresh pair no longer helped. I thought I would try this new version, but I started feeling the same pain. so disappointed. I wear other dansko styles in my casual life, just not the professional clog. I am now wearing alegria for work and other dansko styles for play.

Dansko clogs have always been a "go-to" for work. The tooling on this model gives just enough decorative style to make them unique. One of the unique aspects of this shoe is the removable leather in sole. The reason for the low "overall" rating is that these arrived showing some wear. The upper toe area of one shoe shows that it has been worn and bent. I love the ability to buy from zappos and ship free both ways when needing to return. However, I would expect that a returned item would be evaluated and offered at a discount if it shows wear or breakdown from a previous buyer. Because a dansko clog works well for work as I'm on my feet all day, I pay the price. I would, however, expect that for the price paid, the shoe would arrive without evidence of previous wear.

This shoe/clog felt like a dream on my feet. But the color in "Wine" is just not the richness of what I am looking for. Looked more pinky/orange than the burgundy I love in other patent leather clogs I have from Dansko. I spend many hours on my feet like every other RN and Dansko is forever my go-to for comfort and clog-sassiness. This pair goes back, but I keep my eyes open for other retailers that might have different options. Zappos, your speedy delivery is amazing!

I want to love these shoes. The positive: the footbed is actually very comfortable. The not so positive: the top of the shoe, however, cuts into the top of my foot. It does not feel good. If I was not so desperate for work shoes that fit my “11.5 narrow” feet, they would have already been returned. Much to my chagrin, I am keeping them and hoping they will stretch a bit and become more comfortable with time.

How silly is it that your choices are limited to women's 8.5-9 (i.e., way too small) OR 9.5-10 (way too big), with no 9-9.5 in between? Why would any company make two shoes with a 1.5 size increase and consider them a EU 39 and 40???

The inside of the shoe felt uneven, and as if there was something in the shoe, which there was not. I love my other pair of Dansko XP 2.0, and I am disappointed. Clearly someone else had tried and returned these shoes before me as the packaging and paper were disrupted.

I have been happily wearing Dansko clogs for several decades. I was shocked to find that the left clog of the tooled clog pair was so large that it fell off my foot when I walked. Not only could I fit my pinky in the back, I could fit my thumb in there! In addition, it was too wide. The sole indicates it is a 37, but not the 37 that fits my feet. I am disappointed and concerned that the current age of manufacturing is sacrificing quality for their wallets. In spite of many negative comments about staples popping out and heels splitting, I will give Dansko another try with fingers crossed. I will give Dansko another try

These fit fine and are supportive for standing. But contrary to popular belief, these are not good shoes for walking around a lot (ie. service industry jobs). They leave the tops of my feet feeling sore, they make my knees sore. It's very strange. Just stick with non-slip tennis shoes.

Dansko feels great on my feet but these shoes gave me the same problem the Birkenstocks did--the top of the shoe rubbed against the top of my foot, irritating my sensitive nerves and causing my arthritis to flare. Also, these seemed smaller and I even ordered a larger size just in case. Great shoes, but sent them back to get something else.

I tried them and I wanted them to work for me given the reviews and such but, way too hard on my heels.

I returned these shoes. They did not have the classic square toe box of other Danskos. The shape of the toes was strange not round and not square.

Unfortunately I agree with the people that do not like the XP style. I wish I hadn’t worn them to work so I could return them.

So disappointed. Just can't get my once upon a time favorite barn shoe to fit anymore. :-(

These were my third pair of Danskos, first if the XP and the most uncomfortable shoe ever. At first they felt like a cloud of soft memory foam and within the week felt like cement blocks on my feet. I started to even get symptoms of plantar fasciitis which I've never had. I bought insole cushions for them and they weren't much better. The left shoe felt tighter overall than the right (and my right foot is larger, so go figure). I may buy regular Danskos again but never these. I bought another brand entirely to try out this time. Sad I can't return these since I wore them to try and break them in for a over a month now without success.

Very comfortable, but way too big. I wear a 39 (8.5) in all shoes, but these were so large that they came flying off my feet when I tried to walk.

The size recommended was too Big. I am a size 7, Zappos recommended 7.5 however, the shoes was way too Big. The shoes were returned immediately for a refund for which I am still waiting, I would have preferred an exchange but didn't get the option on the return page of Zappos website. Once I receive my refund, I will reorder the shoes! It is a hassle, but the shoe has a good rating, I hope I am not disappointed and worth the wait!

I've worn Dansko clogs for years. This pretty pair of floral pattern, the same size I've always worn, was too big. I'll try one size down.

There is a weird plastic piece that fits in the heel. It rubbed the side of my foot. I've never seen a plastic piece like that in a shoe.

Why o why can I not get a pair of Danskos that fit? I ordered my usual size in Dansko clogs but these are far too large.

These are very well made clogs and look great. The tooled pattern in the leather is as pretty as it looks online. I just viewed the video for them and discovered they are supposed to arrive with a comfort insert. Mine did not, thus only two stars for the overall rating. I think if they had the insert shown on the video they would be the correct size instead of the half size too large that I marked for them, and probably better arch support too.
