Customer Reviews New Balance 608v5 Slip Resistant

I ordered a wide but these shoes have a somewhat pointy toe so they fit like a regular. Had to return because my feet hurt at the end of the day.

Very heavy bulky and tight!

I’ve worn this version shoe for years, however these shoes are a tad shorter than my others. Uncomfortable as my toes touch the front. Weird. They changed something.

After first putting them on I felt they were comfortable. The bottoms are firm'ish and feel like they have some sort of gel in them which I thought would help my feet after wearing them for long hours. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of wearing these I cannot stand it anymore. I'm a nurse and stand for long periods of time and I've been having foot and back pain after wearing these to work. Based on the reviews I thought these would be great for me but apparently not.

I thought that since WX608V4 has been discontinued that this model would be the next best thing. It is nothing like the 608V4. I was very disappointed. Not sure where to go to to the same great fit as the 608V4.

I have been looking endlessly for a training shoe that I can wear during my HIIT workouts. Need stability and cushion without too deep of a heel bed. As soon as I saw these, I wasn't a fan of the style in person, and the toe was unusually narrow. I had a hard time putting my foot in them so they went right back in the box. I found Asics gel that I like better, sothese are going back.

Although attractive, this sneaker in person is very clunky and stiff. I purchased 7W because I have a high in-step, the sneakers run at least a half size too big and VERY wide, my foot slipped out as I walked. I was hoping for some good arch support and fair amount of cushion, they are not.

I was so disappointed in the fit of this shoe! The 8.5 was too long and so big, it slipped all over my foot. I exchanged them for an 8, but that pair was so short, my toes hit the end of both shoes. Too bad — it’s nice looking with a trim and sporty profile. Oh, well, I’ll just have to keep looking.

the shoe felt very heavy and clunky. I'm a size 9 narrow in regular shoes and generally a 9.5 narrow in running shoes. I order the 9.5, but perhaps the 9 would've been a better fit, still even if they were a little more snug I can't imagine they'd be comfortable. They're going back.

We got these shoes for the spring tennis season for my high schooler. The entire front of the shoes has come apart less than 4 weeks into season. The stitching came completely out. Yes they are lightweight and seem to have a very durable sole but what good is that when the whole toe comes apart like it was made on 5 minute crafts troll channel. I used to swear by new balance. These does are too expensive to have to purchase a new pair every month.

Shoes in box are. not size 7. I think they are 7 1/2 in the wrong box.

This was supposedly a narrow shoe but it’s not narrow at all. Waste of money

Very stiff and uncomfortable with no support whatsoever.

Stitching at toes was uncomforable

right foot too snug at ankle

The shoes I received are not 10.5 wide. I have an older pair of that size and these are demonstrably smaller

Hurt my feet as soon as I put them on, couldn't wait to get them off! Looked really cute, but very uncomfortable on the top of my foot. Not soft like New Balance shoes usually are and seemed very much too small. Returned. Zappos is so awesome about returning items with no hassle.

The toe box was too narrow.
