I literally just opened my box but I couldn't be more pleased. I have been trying to find a shoe with a leather upper instead of mesh and a high enough back at the heel because my heel has rubbed in the shoes I have previously purchased. I have not done any walking in them yet. I do think the left foot might take some breaking in but that is because I injured my left foot over 1 1/2 years ago and the top of it remains swollen. As such, the left shoe is just a little tight. That is an issue with my foot, not the shoe. My teenager just saw them and said they are ugly. They kind of are but I wanted them purely for walking not making a fashion statement.

Loved the shoe from the start. First shoe I did not have to brake in. Fit from the start. I extra wide shoe with heal support. These 9W shoes fit the bill.

I walk 6-10 miles daily. I've been a NB user for years. They're comfortable and they hold up. They also look great.

Got my usual 8 - fit snug but after one wear fit perfect. Love them! Super cute.

I have been buying NB 840's for years. No longer available I guess. These 608's feel great and look great too.

I've always loved NB and these are no exception. The only thing I would do next time is order a half size larger. I wear a 10-1/2 and it was just a bit snug on me. Otherwise, I love them.

I love them. Got them to go on vacation since I'll be doing a lot of walking and I haven't wore another shoe since. They fit your foot so well definitely worth the money. I am normally a size 8 and I got that fits fine.

This is the second pair of 608 I have purchased for my girlfriend. She works in retail , and they really help alleviate fatigue and sore feet.

I'm always having trouble finding shoes but these are the best. Very comfortable and they look great. I bought the white with pink. My podiatrist recommended these-he has several pair himself. Now that says a lot!

Yeah yeah yeah !!! have finally found this style after having purchased some 20 years ago, dating myself but worth letting it out there!!! They are perfect for walking keep you steady, fit perfectly around the toes, sides, running shoes are pointy and uncomfortable especially and flat feet..ahhh...the insoles are new construction and like walking on cushions...thank you New Balace and thank you LLBean for stocking them!!

Go 1/2 size larger and one size wider. Used to be sized correctly, now smaller and narrower.

New Balance is the only shoe my husband will wear. He loves them.

These sneakers seem to run a bit larger than previous 608's I have purchased but my overall purchase experience was great. Product came fast and it was exactly like I ordered

Had regular wide width in the past and they were a bit tight, got extra wide width this time and they are extremely comfortable. Also like comfort insoles that come with them. Would definitely recommend.

I have bought the same shoe for many years now. It always fits the same and holds up as well as the last. So many brands today have changed their sizing or quality, it is great to know that New Balance respects their repeat customers enough to not change what is working so well. A dear friend heard that I was having issues with my foot comfort (Diabetic Feet) and for Christmas bought me a pair of 608s in black. This is the first time my feet felt comfortable in over a year. One's feet are always swollen and often those who have Diabetic feet suffer from neuropathy numb parts of your feet with throbbing or stiff issues (as in toes). Oddly, I dropped into an orthopedic specialist who sells footwear for Diabetics and guess what was on their shelf? Yep, a pair of 608s. A few weeks ago I added to my wardrobe another pair of 608s, this time in white.
