Customer Reviews New Balance 608v5 Slip Resistant

I'm a 6'5"/ 390 lb former athlete trying to get more daily exercise and these are fantastic shoes for my mile walks! Very comfortable and plenty of support even for someone my size.

These are my fourth or fifth pair of 608's. They are comfortable from the box and give great wear. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and acquaintances. Based on my former pairs, I know that these will give good value. When I have to replace them, I wear the old ones to kick around the yard. Thanks New Balance for a product that I can go back for time and time again.

I LEAD EXERCISE CLASSES DAILY ABD WEAR THE 608'S. I HAVE A COUPLE OF PAIR . THEY FEEL GREAT. I HAVE AN ALL WHITE PAIR THAT GETS INTERCHANGE WITH A NAVY AND WHITE PAIR. THE SHOE STRINGS DO NOT NEED TO BE SOOOO LONG.

I bought these 608 shoes for walking. They are very comfortable and easy on both feet and knees. Clean styling too!JAM1

I always have around 5 or 6 pairs of New Balance shoes at a time because I wear them EVERY DAY - even to work. I LOVE New Balance, they are the ONLY shoes I wear.

The Shoes very Comfortable Light wight but great fit , great shoes lace lenght .

The 608's are the most comfortable of all the NB shoes. Have them on now, Have been a NB customer for a long time. I always buy 608's when I can find them. Your wide widths are great best fit of any brand. Love NB shoes!!

I do a good bit of walking and until I discovered NB shoes I had always had problems finding footwear that was both comfortable and supportive. Even though they're designated as 'trainers', these 608s can't be beat as a walking shoe. I've even worn the black ones to a few dress-up functions. They are basically a shoe for every occasion. And they're very attractive as well. I've been buying them for years and have yet to find an alternative. Well done, NB. And thanks.

I use these shoes when I don't want to go out in flip flops. They are very comfortable with a firm grip when walking.

Was looking for a subdued color and am very pleased.

Ordering to size online is sometimes tricky. New Balance always fits and supports so well. Worn them ever since recommended by a store clerk for my daughter for Volleyball, in 2000! No other manufacturers have met my needs, with great support for my high arches.

I needed a all black sneaker for work. It also needed to be slip resistant as to help me keep my footing during the work day. It does that job well. I got mine in size 8 wide. When I first put them on they did seem tight at first. But after a couple of days of breaking them in, they fit great. Will be buying another pair of these once the pair I have gets worn out.

I purchased these shoes for work and I'm glad I did. The memory foam is nice and I really appreciate the slip resistance feature.

This is the only tennis shoe I buy. It is a super walking shoe!

Love the extra wide shoes.Wised they sold bowling and golf shoes.I would buy them too.Love that they are made 25 miles from my house!
