I have Hokas and brooks running shoes and I cant stop using these. I use them for everything when im not at work.

TYR not a household namen running shoes, but the Maverick V1 can compete with all of the big names. Easy miles come easily and picking up the pace for tempo and threshold work was natural and responsive. Cushioning is protective on the asphalt and concrete , but firm enough for smoother trails .

The shoe runs narrow for my feet but Ive never bought running shoes from TYR before so Ill know for next time. I do feel like the shoe is responsive and comfortable during exercise.

This is a very bouncy shoe with a huge heel-toe drop and the treads get much lighter where the toe box flexes. This is fine for walking/running on a flat surface, but it makes anything more than a moderate downhill slope feel like a death defying feat. Moreover, despite having a wide-toe box the material does not flex which caused it to pinch my pinky toe on one foot, I'd suggest sizing up a half size. Lastly, the heel counter is quite tall and also built of rigid material and not much cushioning on the inside, which personally caused a blister for me.
