The ankle strap cannot be made tight enough for a person with narrow heels and ankles. There are no buckles with holes to adjust the strap--only too short velcro. The straps need longer velcro strips. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. A shame, because otherwise I love this brand.
I'd also recommend:
Cobb Hill is usually my favorite dress brand.

The length is far too long to be a 9 1/2. I could fit 2 fingers behind my heel. The wide with was a good fit for my left foot crazy bunions.

These shoes are very comfortable. I love the fit and the design. Beautiful shoes that are also comfortable. Perfect for an older lady that needs comfortable shoes but stylish with dresses.

Fit and size were comfortable. Style reminded me of toddlers shoes, just couldn't feel good about wearing them as an 81-year-old.
