These held strong through the mud, snow and ice this weekend all the way to the top of Twin mountain in the Catskills of upstate NY. They dont give an inch of slippage even on a slanted rock face on approach. Would highly recommend!

Takes some time to break in - narrow fitting. Great approach shoe - would not recommend as an every day shoe.

Great addition to the Vertex lineup, this shoe gives me the traction and support necessary for more technical trails. Would like a zip-lace version as seen with the Aerios Nivalis.

Just got these in ! decided to try these out when i visited texas. This model felt t a bit more breathable vs the norvan ld3 which is awesome and the traction is amazing. I shall continue to use these.

Black Sapphire for Women's needed please, a lot of these colors are only available for men's style but womens besides all black and the purple, the rest colorways design are not appealing, really hard to match with my AR jacket color...

Sent back .l really wanted to like these shoes, but they were not comfortable and with the snug ankle portion made them to way hard to put on.
Oh well, otherwise great looking shoe .. just wasn't for me

I bought it and returned it after trying it for 10 seconds.
The biggest problem is: it is not comfortable at all when you wear it.
Not easy to go in at all requiring your whole strength when you do it

I had been excited about these shoes partially because every product I've ever purchased by Arc'teryx has been of the utmost quality and very comfortable to wear. That said, unless there is an unusually long and arduous breaking in period I was not aware of, these quite possibly are the least comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The soles are fine and quite adequate but I've never experienced such discomfort from a shoe on the top of my feet. It's as if put my feet in some sort of Iron Maiden torture device and went for a long walk in them.

Very uncomfortable, especially in the heel area where it is hard with little side pads that are meant to grab the sides of your heel. Felt like I would easily get blisters. Gore-tex scrambling shoes have little utility as having sweaty feet impacts grip confidence. All in all, I was just astounded with how uncomfortable they were. If somehow they do not give your feet blisters, their utility would be in cold weather.

so many issues with these shoes. After wearing them for 1 week the synthetic upper already started to wear down and rip, I had the same probably with the synthetic upper on the konseal.... Another problem that comes with the shoes is it rips up your heel. After 4-5 hours it feels like my feet are ripping apart. Honestly for their first "in house" designed shoe it really feels like they made these in only 8-5 months. Very disappointing
