Great shorts. We cut out the liner as daughter really wears them to school, not for athletics. She is a lean 12 yr old and we bought the 10-12 M and they fit great. Happy happy

My 10 year old loves these shorts. She is tall for her age, so we sized up. I would say these run true to size, but if your 10 year old is more like a 12 year old, order up. These are roomy and comfy and a good length for her.

Not too long, not to short. They run true to size, but the inside underwear-like lining was uncomfortable for my daughter. We cut it out and now she loves the shorts.

These shorts are cute but the white pair are extremely see through. The white liner shows through which makes it look like your underwear are showing and if you cut the liner out than your underwear really do show through. These shorts, in white, used to not be this thin and see through. My daughter cannot wear them.
