Again Zappos??? QUALITY CHECK UPGRADE! I keep getting shoes that have been returned and NOT cleaned up or at least made to look new. These were scratched up w no stuffing or anything to keep separate. The boots themselves are very comfortable and nice looking but too tight in the legs where they hit. Fat calves beware!

These are my third pair of Blundstones. My first pair I’ve had for 10 years, and they still feel like the day I bought them. I wore these to a 1 hour event, and my feet were killing me by the end. There is 0 heel cushion, and the arch support is minimal. I get these are “dress boots”, but that’s no excuse to make a boot that feels so hard, cold and primitive. I haven’t regretted a purchase like this in a long time. After being a faithful Blundstone wearer, I have bought my last pair. Highly disappointed.

I have always loved Blundstones and I especially love the dress boot because I hate a round toe. The dress style is also a little roomier as other reviewers noted. But this review is really for Zappos, which is so fast, has such a great returns policy/process, and always has a few more in stock when the manufacturer has just run out. Thank you, Zappos, for saving me from out-of-stocks and accepting all my many returns when things don’t fit.

The leather at the foot was very stiff and the sole was hard and had a strong off-gassing smell.

Love blundstones and love the dress boot shape. It is roomier in the toebox as stated on their website, but the rest of the fit is true to size compared to other blundstones. Also really love Zappos selection, speed, and return policy, it’s really helpful. The Stout Brown color is very close to black, a little darker than I was expecting, but I kept them and am happy with them.

These are so cute. I got the Tobacco Suede, which is a rusty brown color. Love the square toe, kind of biker chick cowboy feel. Love the waxed suede, definitely waterproof, and you can tell it’s going to look better with wear. Definitely a more casual look than the smoother leathers available. As for sizing, it’s a little confusing with Blundstone. I am normally a 7.5 in boots of all kinds. With the classic 585 Blundstone, the ones with the wider and more rounded look, I had to go up to an 8, the 7.5 was way too tight, even for my somewhat narrow feet. With the Dress style, I read on the company website to go down half a size, as the cut of the Dress boot is longer. So I ordered a 7.5 US (4.5 AUS) and the fit is just perfect. Stiff at first, but they broke in well within a few hours of wear and I am sure will get more comfy with time. They look so good with denim. Exactly what I was hoping for. One negative thing, the boots I received had obviously been worn. The suede in the toe area of both is scuffed and the bottoms were very dirty. No signs of long term wear, but someone definitely wore them outdoors. Surprised whoever returned them did not clean them off first, and even more surprised that the people at Zappos did not clean them up when they were returned, before reselling. I am keeping them because I love them, and hate the hassle of returning things, but not really happy that I paid almost $200 for dirty boots. One star off for that. My bad for not ordering directly from Blundstone.

Surprisingly comfortable with minimal breaking in period. They have a slightly dressier toe, compared to the original rounder toe box, which looks a bit western, but also a bit less casual. Really nice leather, color and all around fit. These are keepers!
