My usual 7.5 Wide felt narrow enough and short enough for me to try a Size 8 Wide. It was perfect! Wider and longer but not at all too long. Now I can use my own arch insoles with still plenty of room. This year's Saucony Peregrine has really improved over last year's model. It's rounder in the toe area, more stable, has a little added cushion. The tongue is placed perfectly, doesn't cut into your ankle top or slide around. The laces are long enough to double-tie, generous feature on Saucony's part. These feel great walking thru rocky & rugged terrain.

Saucony really improved this trail shoe from last year's model. This year, it's wider with a more rounded toe, a little more cushion stack and it's much more stable feeling. I do wish it had abut 2mm+ more cushion depth in the forefoot, but my only real complaint is the 1 color choice in wide: Black! Good grief, would it be that hard or expensive to offer one more color, such as blue or teal, in the Wide width?? Then it would be almost perfect! There's really no arch support, but that's fine if you have your own arch insert to use. Final experience, my usual 7.5 Wide was too narrow & short, but the size 8 made a huge difference and fit great.

Nice comfortable shoes. These were purchased for my spouse. She normally wears a 9.5 but that size was just too short in the toes. Size 10 was perfect.
