Super cute with nearly any outfit. Have owned well over a year. Did some serious walking on a Vegas trip, and they were totally comfy. And I have picky feet!

Fit great. Good substitute for black sneakers in winter.

After having my ankles fused I need not only very comfortable shoes but a flat sole. Softwalk is one of the only company that fits both criteria. These boots are so comfy and cushioned. Please don't ever stop making these!!!

I have tried on many boots in this style and finally found WIDE WIDTH! Soft, flexible, the shafts not too high, lots of toe room, soft rubber outsole. They do “slip” on my heal as others have said but it is not irritating to me. If you don’t have perfect feet these might be the shoe for you! That cute Chelsea boot style without the pain!

Incredible! My search for short boots that I can just step into is over! I have (apparently?) freakishly thick ankles and these actually have extra room around the opening which is so so hard to find for people my size.

These ran big for me. I first purchased my regular size 9 1/2N which the chart said I should. I returned them and purchased 9N. They are nice looking, comfortable. I would purchase Softwalk again but in 1/2 size smaller. I feel a very good purchase

While this boot was very comfortable and fit pretty well, it would not look good with slim cut jeans or pants. The upper part was so wide that I would have to wear short pants or wide leg pants. I wish they would have worked out because they were very comfortable.

I loved these but the color is purple. Not at all red or wine like it says and looks.

Cute shoe, like the low heel. Seems well made with good materials. Fit well in the toe and mid-sole but got very sloppy in the heel, I think because of the elastic on the side.

These boots are really cute. I could not wear them because I have hyper sensitive shins. The height was not good for me. Each time I stepped they hit my shin and hurt. They shaft is stiff. If I had normal legs I would have kept them.

good fit, hits your ankle a little bit, other than that pretty comfy. Not so wide but ok. :)

Plenty of room for a long narrow foot. this boot is very stylish but is narrow through the heal and uncomfortable after just a few minutes.

Such cute boots. I really wanted them to work but they slipped off my narrow heel so much that they just weren't comfortable. I had to return them.

Fit was good. If I wear a heavier sock they may be a bit tight. I tried them on with a lightweight wool sock and they work!. I wish the toe was a bit wider. Overall a good solid and nicely designed bootie. I think I will use them a lot over the winter months. They are very stylist and leather is nice. I am flat footed and the arch in these is enough to support my foot.

I had purchased this in my regular size 9 1/2N. I even checked to see if it compared to what they suggested. It was much too loose especially in the heel. So purchased 9N. It is a little loose in the heel even with socks but it is comfortable and glad I purchased them

Since these are unlined boots, you needs socks and for me the are a bit tight and narrow for a sock. I've got a wide foot with bunions, high arch and various old injuries so they're picky. Because these are leather, I'm going to hope the break in so I'm going to keep them and hope they stretch out some. Beautiful boots, look nice on!

The heel and ankle fit were too wide, and my foot kept slipping up because of that.

Runs quite small, even for wide width.

I have a narrow foot and it was wider than I thought. It is a beautiful boot, however.

Heel was to big. Toe a little tight for me.

I sent for 2 pairs of black ankle boots to replace my much-loved ones that finally did not fit any longer. I planned to return the ones I didn't love. That would be these. While researching the boots, I found that SoftWalk had excellent reviews and looked smart, so I chose them. The leather is very nice, the looks are good but the ankle height is a little short, and the toe area was slightly squinchy. To be fair, I have a problem getting a good width because I had to have arch supports made a year or two ago, and they not only change the size of all my shoes but the width as well. So I have to order wide shoes even though I have narrow feet to accommodate these things. The other pair I sent for fit the bill: slightly higher, good width in the toes, absolutely beautiful (Hotter). Both were on sale, so not much difference there. To sum up, these boots look better than they feel. OK but not spectacular. Even if they had fit perfectly, I would have kept the Hotters instead.

The boots were not attractive when on my feet, so the style wasn't quite what I expected.

Nice, comfy boots, great padded footbed, but definite heel slippage which others have mentioned. I would have kept them otherwise. Seems like a design fault.

These boots are super comfy, except for the heel slippage, which many folks have complained about. Too bad.
