What is a wide calf because my calves are definitely big but theyre not gigantic (~15. 5 in) and these do not fit me. The boots were gorgeous and amazing quality but I wish Frye made a boot that truly fit wide calves and not just a slightly large calf.

OMG Ive always wanted these and they now fit!!! Thank you. Theyre gorgeous. Also, im between a 7. 5 and an 8. I got the 8 and it fits good a little room but I can wear a thicker sock, if needed. Also, I have a high end step and I was able to get my foot into these boots.

I’m 5’1 with an average size calf, but because of my height, I typically have have to buy wide calf. I’m a true size 6 with a narrow to average foot. I tried the 6 normal calf and it fit very well but just a little too tight on the calf and I want to be able to wear with leggings. These wide calf version are perfect calf-wise. However, I couldn’t even fit my foot into the boot!! My heel constantly got jammed, and the top of the foot area is extremelyyyy tight! I struggled and struggled, but didn’t want to try too hard because then I was worried that if I got them on then I wouldn’t be able to get them off. So bummed.

Overall I LOVE these boots. If you have wider feet I'd recommend sizing a half size up (but I do think they will stretch in the width area).

Love these boots! I am 51 and about 135 and when i measured the wide calf was what I needed. Makes it way more comfortable and not tight around my leg. Fits more like the model! Boots are classics and will have them forever!

The perfect boot, Im in love. My calves are the exact width of the regular width boots so I opted for the wide calf and they are perfect!

Bought these boots for my college girl, loves the boots. I bought size 7. 5, wide calf, she normally wears 7. 5 to 8 shoes, and the 7. 5 fits perfect. She said the boots are beautiful and theyre gonna be her go to boots.

This is my most favorite boot ever in my entire 37 years of living. They are breaking in beautifully. Perfect color. These are my new personality and I will be making them a year round outfit staple. Its crazy how great these are. My entire outfit could be casual and cozy then I throw these boots on and it elevates the look. Ill wear with leggings, dresses and long tshirts and around the house even all year round. Well worth the investment

I loved these boots the moment I put them on! They are so cute and pull together an outfit. I have always had wide calves, so it was exciting that these fit so perfectly. The foot area is comfortable too. Since they are still new, they are tight on the sides, but I anticipate that the leather will relax and shape to my foot. They are already a little more roomy after the first wear.

These are sliiightly redder than I expected them to be, and the wide calf was just wide enough to fit comfortably. (53 180lb, Ive got a lot going on. ) Still, theyre made beautifully and look great with the outfit I tried them with. Since they werent exactly the color I expected, I decided to keep these and buy a second pair in a darker brown. Very happy with them!

These are beautiful boots, but they don't work for me. I have very thin legs and the boots are too wide. In the past, I bought a pair of Frye boots in San Francisco, and they fit me much better than these.

I have muscular calves and a hard time finding boots that fit- these are great AND comfortable. Love the garnet color - not too red or brown.
