I bought a size 8.5 in 'brown', hoping to wear a thin sock with it. But I had to go in barefoot, as the opening where the ball of one's foot is, is a bit tight. But once you get past that, it's a lovely fit. They were very comfortable to walk in with a bit of heel slippage, but that is always the case with new boots. Will probably wear with hosiery underneath to avoid blisters. The wide calf size was a blessing - I haven't been able to wear boots because of my big calves, but I lost a bit of weight, and now these wide calf boots are going into my regular rotation. May buy a black pair as well. Really gorgeous boots.

Wow! These boots are gorgeous! They fit great and are very comfortable right out of the box. You can really see that the quality of leather is exceptional. True to size and great for us large calf muscle gals

I have waiting years to convince myself I needed and deserved these boots. Well the time came and I purchased them for my birthday. All I can say is, DON'T wait forever like did! I could have been enjoying these extremely high quality crafted boots years ago but I'm happy to have them now. I will 1000% order myself a black pair next and I'm not waiting years to do so.

I love them, I have wanted these boots for years and finally bought them for my 35th birthday. I wear a size 7,but I ordered an 8 because other reviews said they run small. They very comfortable and flattering.

Love these wide calf boots! My calves are 14. 5" so the regular version were a bit snug. They are beautifully crafted and will last a lifetime if taken care of.
