It has been about a 5-year quest to find a new travel shoe. I've been nursing along some ancient 20-yr old Clarks, the original Encore Breeze, the one that had arch support. I've finally found replacements in these Orthofeet Iris clogs/slides. I wear a 41 (10 1/2) in my day-to-day Alegria sandals, and this shoe in 11M fit perfectly. Great arch support, wide toe box, and adjustable to tighten a bit. The return/bounce in the heel is the best I've ever had for any shoe. I really do walk more securely in these than lace-ups. I'm delighted my size in black was finally in stock. They're keepers.

my hammertoe hurt in this shoe which was not as well cushioned as I expected- & shoes do not have a back ( clogs) so I was afraid of slipping or tripping- I need more cushioning for my soles & under my toes too.

Bigger than I imagined but I can wear them with socks for work. Cute and comfy
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Aravon, Vionics, Ziera, Wolky, birkenstock

I purchased these for my mother with diabetes and flat feet. She doesn't walk much, but transfers back and forth from her electric wheelchair. These stretch without feeling loose, are stable without being hard. Highly recommend if you need easy on/off diabetic shoes.

I generally love Orthofeet shoes, but in my opinion this one has a design flaw that impacts safety. Too much friction: the sole is very grabby, and the insole is high-friction. It's hard to slide my foot in and out, and when the rubbery sole grabs the carpet or a stone outside, my foot goes with the shoe instead of sliding out. I fell once (very gently, caught myself on the furniture, no blood/ no foul), and came close to falling a second time because my foot got hung up. I tried replacing the insole with one of my own, but then my foot didn't stay in the shoe well enough-- odd, for clogs. I kicked a shoe off twice! And I've only had these for a few weeks. I've worn them outside and can't return them, but I'm not going to wear them and I don't recommend this specific design. Otherwise, Orthofeet shoes have been great for my feet.
