This is beautiful boot and very comfortable so far trying on. Im between sizes 8.5 and 9. Ordered the 9(40) and I'd say it is true to that. I do have a wider foot and this still works for me as it's a type of leather that will mold to your foot. It is a hair long but I think the 8.5 would be too small. I'll try it on again with a thicker sock. Be aware..the dark brown does come with some distressing marks which does not bother me..it's the design and i am wearing them to work in. I really like them a lot. My feet are very picky and seem to like these. The sole is supportive with a bit of a lift and fairly flexible. I have flat feet and the arch isn't so high that hurts my feet. Overall I think these are great! Well made, quality materials. Smooth zippers!

Have been eyeballing this great looking boot for a while and decided to try it, even though i HATE when they darken the toe on these shoes for a look(dumb)!! Seem comfortable straight out of the box. I am a 9m. These were a bit too snug for one foot and just right for the other, as it goes, so trying next half size up and will use a thicker sock. We shall see....

Great looking. SOFFT for sure. Comfortable out of the box. Sized normally. Color a little off in that one toe was a bit darker as they do, and the other not so much which I way prefer! But not a big deal since they will get dirty on their own. Only better thing would be price but I’m not waiting!;/)

Had a hard time getting INTO these boots with my medium/slight wider feet. Very uncomfortable!
