I really like these shoes, but I also bought a pair of ASICS GEL-Nimbus 27. These beat out the ASICS Gt-2000 14 by a hair. Both would be really comfortable, but I like the cushy feel of the others a bit better. You can't go wrong with either one. I do, however, like my shoes a bit on the wide side though; not a W width, just roomy. Like these shoes also

This shoe would be great if you need to correct inward pronation (which I don't have). I felt like my feet and ankles were being strongly shifted outward. Also there is almost no padding on the tongue.

Saw reviews that said that Asics went back to their old sizing, which used to fit. For me, that was not the case. I have a narrower foot, but these are still too wide for me, especially in the heel and toe box. If you have a thicker foot than I do, these seem like they would be comfortable.

I found these to be very unsupportive and squishy. I haven't worn asics in many years and the GT line used to be a nice stability shoe. These felt flimsy and my foot was moving all over the place. They also seemed cheaply made as I could see glue visible on multiple seams.
