The shoes I ordered were my normal size, but these had extra room at the toe (too much). I did order the wider shoe, but it seemed to weigh heavier through the midline and turned my foot in without effort. They felt clunky and uncomfortable. I liked the color except there was more pink than expected. Not really seen in the photos. I returned them in search of a different pair.

Shoes were around a half size larger than I usually wear. Also, I found that the sides of the shoes, where the ankle bone sticks out, sat right on the bone. I typically buy Brooks because they sit lower. Unfortunately with this style and issue, I had to return.

This shoe is NOT waterproof, as stated in the description.

This particular style of Brooks shoe run large. So I initially sized down half a size and it still felt too big, so I returned the shoe. I sized down another half size and it was too tight in the toe box and still too loose in the heel, so I am returning again. This style of Brooks is not typical of other Brooks shoes, which usually fits my foot perfect. Not this one.

My podiatrist recommended this brand. I must have chosen poorly. A more rounded and high toe box is what I need. This style has a more pointy shape (guess I should have noticed that in the pics?) and was much too narrow in the toe box. That almond-like toe box also makes the shoe feel shorter but that could be the shape of this particular shoe.

It says in the description that these shoes are waterproof, they are NOT waterproof by any means! After a brief walk in dewy grass my feet were wet and I had to change my socks. I got these to use as "yard shoes" to use to cut the grass and do other routine outside tasks. I thought being waterproof would help since I am sometimes in dewy grass or wet/muddy areas of the yard (especially in early spring). I have had many pairs of Brooks gyms shoes in past that were very cushioned and supportive, but these are not like the others in that area either. These shoes are not very comfortable, my feet were aching after a day of yard work. I wore them around the house to test them out at first, and they seemed fine. But after one day of wearing them I am sorely disappointed. I wish I could return them, but Zappos won't allow returns of worn items. I wish I had bought them directly from Brooks because at least they have a guarantee and allow you to return worn merchandise if you are not satisfied. I guess I learned my lesson the hard (and expensive) way!
