I ordered the wide width anticipating it would be narrow like the GTS 24. However, the shoe runs wide in the the toe box. The toe box are began to crunch up when tightening the laces. However, my biggest problem was that I couldn't get a secure heel lock down that I would feel confident in jogging, I think the shoe could be a better casual walking shoe comparable to the Hoka Bondi 9, but more supportive and a little less stack, but It didn't feel secure for my low arches - it may be just my foot.

At 6'2", 300 lbs and wearing a size 15, I need a shoe that can truly handle daily wear, workouts, and long hours on my feet. This one delivers. I’ve worn the Brooks Beast for years, and this is easily the best version yet. The heel cushioning stands out right away. By the end of the day, my feet and ankles feel much less fatigued. The updated colors are also a nice touch, and the beige looks far better than the usual silver. I have high arches, so I added VALSOLE 250+ High Arch Support Insoles for extra support, which made a good shoe even better. That said, they’re comfortable right out of the box. My only complaint is the laces. If you use a heel lock lacing style for extra support, they feel a bit short. Overall, this is a solid, supportive shoe for bigger guys who need all-day comfort.

Good looking shoe, I would hate as a runner- the sole is firm and stiff; however, it feels great as a cross trainer type shoe that works great for heavy lifting. I think it should be marketed as a cross trainer shoe. I would recommend an insert for some extra cushion.

15 is too large...14 was too small...too bad brooks does not sell 14.5 as an option.

The other Brooks shoes I have are made to fit your foot. The toe box is more in the shape of a foot meaning the longest area is where your big toe is. This shoe has the longest area right in the middle of the shoe which is not anatomically correct so the shoe fits poorly.
