I always buy sketchers for my husband he needs them and they serve him well

Relaxed fit is too loose without a built in way to tighten. I would end up stepping out of them if attempting to walk quickly. I simply pulled enough to create 2 loops and tighten them.

I bought these mainly for walking in

Great shoe. It is what is referred as relax fit which by Skechers definition slightly larger width. I usually like a wide shoe but this shoe being relaxed fit is just the right width.
