These are really nice boots, but there's too much going on at the ankle.

I'm really happy with these boots. It's hard to find natural leather these days. Synthetic leather just doesn't last at all. And adds something non-biodegradable to the landfill when they get tossed. I'm finding the heel width is a tad loss but I have pretty narrow feet. They have a fairly fitted ankle, which I like and a good height 2 in heel. Born shoes often work for me and these confirm that.

I reordered this boot and the leather is scratched more than the 1st pair. I will not be reordering this boot.

Leather is very soft and will break in easily.

Wayyy too small! I was so sad because otherwise I liked them a lot. To anyone interested, they have a zipper on BOTH sides, not just one. Made for a stiff ankle region, but otherwise I liked them a lot. They definitely had to go back for sizing though...

The inside of the boot has stiching that runs across the widest part of the boot and I could feel it on both feet even with socks on. I wanted to love these but am too sensitive to tolerate it. Bummer.

These are lovely boots but they hit my shin in an uncomfortable spot. They were not quite wide enough in the footbed to be comfortable for me.

I have an older version of this same boot. Construction is just a bit different. Current one is too narrow for me.
