I'm a long time fan of the Monarch III but after 4 years needed the same fit and comfort with a different style, which is exactly what the Monarch IV provided. I have flat feet that are slightly wide and very few shoes can fit without irritation the way that Monarch can. The new look is subtle but distinctive from the previous version.

I feel they have solved the support problem I had with the Air III's. This shoe fits my wide foot great.

This is not the first pair of Nike Monarchs I have owned and that is the primary reason for this order. They are very comfortable and the black gives me a nice change from the white in the same shoe. Zappos, as always, did an excellent job. Thank you very much for existing.

The service from Zappos was outstanding, I would buy from them again. However, Nike should sell these shoes with a can of WD-40. I have a pair of air monarch 111 that are much better. I am thinking of trying New Balance.

My husband has worn the Air Monarch III for several years since we bought three pair when we found the fit so well. These shoes are for the guy with a high arch and a wide foot that wants to have a current yet comfortable sport or work shoe. I recently bought the new Air Monarch IV for both him and my 20 year old son and they both love them. These shoes really last and I have had great success washing my husband's original pair and these are just as great.

My nephew really like the air Monarch IV. He liked everything about them.
