Fell apart in less than a year, light to moderate wear.

These squeak at every step. I’ve bought them before, no other pair has squeaked.

I had a pair of Air Monarchs that I loved and lasted for years. I finally wore out the soles and I had to replace them, so I ordered the "same." Definitely not the same - they are not comfortable to wear, even after a few months of breaking in. I probably won't wear them again.

Sooo LOUD that I cannot wear them. The sole is made with two pieces that are interwoven, but not connected. The two pieces slide and SQUEAK so loud that indoors or out people will stop and look. Terrible design flaw makes the shoe un-wearable. I'd return, but Zappos says that you cannot return once worn and you cannot hear the sound without wearing.

Very noisy squeak with every step. No change with different flooring, it is how the sole is made in two parts that slide against each other with each step. Design flaw.

I have been wearing these shoes for only a couple of weeks now. I like the fit and comfort and began to think this was going to be better than I expected, and then it happened. The right shoe started squeaking with every step I took. It’s very annoying to walk down the hallway of the school I teach at and have all my students ask where’s the mouse? So if you want squeakers instead of sneakers, definitely buy these. Otherwise run away. I don’t feel like Zappos will refund me either since they have a whole 2weeks of wear and no original packaging. As I tell my students - “caveat emptor”.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

The squeak started in both shoes 6 days after i started wearing them. I have tried everything to stop the squeaking to no avail.Its unbelievable that Zappos would sell such a poorly manufactured product. Time to try shoes.com and and another shoe.

After several days the shoes began to squeak. They were not exposed to water at any time.

Will return for a larger size. Love the looks of the shoe but it runs small.

The first pair really hurt the outside of my left foot. The right shoe was fine. I tried to break these in for weeks but my left foot was killing me. I exchanged them for a second pair, and the right shoe started squeaking after about 10 days and would not stop. I tried to exchange a third time and Zappos was out of stock in my size. I decided to go with the New Balance MID626v2. Hopefully they will do the job.

These are no longer 4E. As a wide footed person my whole life, I've been relying on these as my go to shoes for over a decade, and now they'er gone. Footbed is completely different in order to save 0.3 oz of rubber and shipping. Awful.

Most annoying shoes. Every move they "FART". Always farting these shoes even when I'm standing still. 3rd pair I buy.

These sneakers suck. They get dirty easily. They squeak and "FART" every step you take and they squeak and "FART" when you're just standing still!! Bad sneakers!

Had these for 2 weeks they started SQUEAKING so bad So LOUD, I had to throw them in the TRASH!!! Buyer Beware!!!

Bought these for bodyweight exercises, jumprope, high knees, etc. Shoes offer little to no support in front of archand can't workout in them for more than 15 minutes without severe pain. Already trying out insoles after less than a week.

The shoes felt perfect and looked great. The issue was they squeaked so loud I had to return them. These were a replacement for a previous pair of Air Monarch's I've worn for the last 4 years. Very disappointed at the shoes quality.

Could not even get my foot in the shoes. WAY too narrow. The leather did not "give".

Did not fit. Right shoe had problems with insert. There was a poor fit, like a ridge across the ball of your foot inside the right shoe. Shoes were replaced but second pair had similar problem with right shoe. Seems like there was an issue with the way the insert was glued in the right shoe. Left shoe was OK for both sets of shoes. These were Black size 11 medium width. May not be an issue with other sizes or colors.

ZERO stars, I would not recommend these. No matter how well they fit, the squeaky noise they make with every footstep is not worth it. There is something wrong inside these sneakers, and no, you cannot remove the padding / footbed inside because of the way it is glued in. I am actually GLAD that sneaker soles only last about 6 months because these Nike Air Monarch IV are simply garbage. Do not buy these unless you do not mind squeaky steps no matter where you walk, no matter what the surface.

Broke the first time my son tried to lace them up. Two pairs now with defects Not a happy customer.

Just not my style of shoe it would be ok as a work shoe in all black but not a very stylish shoe in my opinion
