My husband was looking for a comfortable shoe because he is on his feet all day long. He has always like Nike but he said these are the best shoe he has had. Very comfortable. He is very happy.

Bought a pair of these in white at a local outlet mall and loved them from the moment I first put them on. Very comfortable for distance walking even before being broken in. Wide heel base with good arch support and not too tight across the toes, which is where I have a problem with many shoes. Local retailers didn't have them in black so ordered them online from Zappos, where price was even better than the outlet store.

Several months ago, I had chronic inflammation of the knee joints, especially the right knee. Walking was difficult and steps were a real challenge. Being 59 years old, I thought that my body was wearing out. This was scary because I am a self employed contractor. A friend suggested looking into footwear designed to cushion the impact from the foot upward into the leg and hip areas. It could reduce physical stress to the knees and back. It seemed like a smart idea so I did a great deal of research and settled on the Nike Air Monarch IV, featuring the full length air soles. It is built tough, as most cross trainers are, but the desired cushioning was there right from the start. I also learned about orthotics and tried some over the counter ones with the Nikes. My left knee did not like it but my right knee was very happy. A perfect combination! Remarkable comfort with greatly reduced pain almost right away! The use of a new dietary joint support supplement designed to reduce inflammation completed the job. I am now back to walking normally, even quickly at times and I no longer have to think about how I am going to take each step to avoid pain. The Air Monarch IV is a very good support system for the feet and knees, and it is affordable. Perfect! (I will not pay a lot for a pair of sneakers made overseas.) By the way, I tried out the Air Monarch IV shoes at a sports store because it is always guesswork to order a size online. I bought my first pair at that store but bought a second pair at Zappos (same price but it saved me the time to make a special trip). Since it always seems to happen that when I find something I really like, the manufacturer stops making it, I bought the second pair as comfort insurance for when the first pair wears out.

Great shoe. Great stability and comfort. I have bought and used several pair over the past few years. I walk 4-5 miles a day. The full coverage air, is great on your feet. I can walk/stand in them all day without my feet getting tired/sore. Nike had a problem with the shoes making noise, (squeak when you walk) but have apparently resolved it. I have two pair now and they are quiet.

This is my third pair of Nike Airs. I tried some others, but, Air is extremely comfortable! The squeak which may occur after many months is easy to correct. Pull up the insole slowly as not to tear it and apply baby powder or foot powder - no more squeak! They are great shoes!

I have been wearing a different pair of shoes and the price was a lot. Well I decided to look for another brand to see if they provide the same comfort as what I was wearing and could save money. When I went to Zappos.com and found the brand that was well known and half the price. I order the pair and I have a new pair of shoes that met my standard. Guess what?, I paid only half the price and get to wear then everyday.

First, ZAPPOS: I am a weird 11 1/2/12 EEEE shoe wearer and this is the few places that I can find shoes to my liking, so thanks Zappos friends. The Monarch IV's? In a word: hella-comfortable. I bought them to use for Base-Umpiring for High school ball. On grass or dirt they are very comfortable. No problem working that double header on Saturdays, either!

This is the second pair of Nike Air Monarch shoes my husband bought. His first pair were a great fit and lasted longer than most athletic shoes he has owned. Great looking, too! Zappos had the best price and easiest shipping to buy from.

I really love these shoes! Thank You Nike for making them in sizes that will fit very large feet. I wear size 15-4E, that's right we really do exist. The quality is excellent the arch support is amazing and I still have my old pair that are in excellent shape but I am just tired of waiting for them to wear out. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone because the value is wonderful and they are built to last. There are two other companies that make big shoes like this but one company's shoes are not durable and the other one makes your feet hurt after you wear them for a while. I am staying with Nike from now on.

These are my fourth pair. I love these shoes! The second pair from Zappos. I love them too! I ordered them before lunch and they arrived the next day. Best price around and free shipping too! You can't beat that!

As a man with a 6.5 shoe size, finding good quality shoes at a good price for my active lifestyle is quite difficult. Finding a place to buy with confidence online with confidence is usually difficult because depending on the shoe, I sometimes need a 6! Well, Zappos cures all of that by offering an amazing selection in my size while offering me the opportunity to return postage free...home freaking run. I will make all of my online purchases here from now on. Easy process, quick delivery, good quality, great value for the price. Awesome.

I have had this type of shoe forever and love them. I tend to get angry when I go to a store and they don't have them in my size. Thanks to Zappos.com I don't believe I will have to worry about that anymore.

Zappos was great! I ordered the wrong size. They were very helpful in explaining how to make a return. They immediately sent me the size I needed and it arrived 2 days later! That was fast!

These are my fiance's favorite shoe! Lots of good cushion in the bottom. He uses them for work shoes in place of the "shoes for crews" they want him to buy that hurt his feet.

I've worn this shoe for work for years and have reliably ordered the 8.5 medium without any issues. I order them in black and white. The black pair felt tight, like they were a half size too small. I figured the size was marked incorrectly and Zappos was great about exchanging them for another pair. When I received the replacement 8.5 medium, they were still too small. I guess I'll have to exchange them for a larger size. The white ones are perfect as always, so I can guess the black ones are just running smaller. Weird.

I've bought several of these. One of the few sneakers that are all-leather, so they can take a beating when hiking or working in the yard. They also keep your feet dry in wet grass.

These shoes were noticeably longer than the size 10½ Nikes that were currently on my feet, but a size 10 may not have fit. The fit was good and I love having the extra room in the toe box. I would buy them again.

This was my first purchase from Zappos. I was surprised by the speed of shipment-nice packaging-and great communications and updates.
