The fit and size were exact and as expected as I have bought this shoe before. Arch support is excellent and the shoe holds up for the rugged work I do. Black is the preferred color for my job so I sometimes have difficulty in buying them locally. Zappos makes the shoe available to me and the shipping only took 5 days to come to my overseas location. On the whole, this shopping experience was OUTSTANDING!

Feels like walking on clouds every time I get a new pair. Just so comfortable and so much support !

Had these for 2 weeks they started SQUEAKING so bad So LOUD, I had to throw them in the TRASH!!! Buyer Beware!!!

Length was fine. Width in the toe box was too narrow. I guess I need the extra wide in this particular shoe.

Me and my wife feed the only shoe I can wear and they are very comfortable Nikes were always narrow for me however they did it on this one The new black blue and white is a good luck and the only ones I'm buying now and I don't hear the squeak like previous with the red and black and the all black

Bought these for bodyweight exercises, jumprope, high knees, etc. Shoes offer little to no support in front of archand can't workout in them for more than 15 minutes without severe pain. Already trying out insoles after less than a week.

Perfect really great fit

Until wearing Air Monarch IV’s, I was having daily foot pain from those “Waffle Patterned, no slip work shoes”. These shoes are poorly glued together. Shoe Goo is now kept nearby. That said, they are the most comfortable shoe I’ve EVER worn. Squeak was a factor for only A few days and left on its own. I’ve now worn them for two years and I weigh 250.

Nike Air Monarch 4 are very ugly. However, I need hybrid shoes and the market for crosstrainers, right now, is very poor, in my opinion. I'm even playing around with Adidas Strutter and that goes against my philosophy, because I always wear Adidas top and bottom, and prefer Nike shoes, so that I can have some variety of brands on me. I'm also planning to get Nike Cross Trainer 3. They will be next in line for me. $120 though. I used to like Nike footwear a lot; I think they have deteriorated. I want them to make some high top leather/synthetic crosstrainers and soccer cleats ( like they used to). Come on Nike, make some good shoes, please. Adidas shoes are weak. Most other shoe brands are garbage, as well. I want to keep my style of Adidas clothing, Nike shoes going...

These shoes constantly FART when walking in them or standing still.

Fit and size good, this is my 5th pair of Monarchs over many years, all different styles but consistent fit. Very good support as walking shoe. I not particularly fond of this color combo and will order one of the other styles next time. Very durable.

I have had many pairs of these Nike shoes, the Monarch IV. At least the last 3 pairs, all had a problem with the left shoe having a squeaking noise in the sole area. Like the inside components of the sole are not properly glued together, and it gets worse with time. Also it seems to lose the support of the left foot.

As usual these fit great. The price is great. I checked amazon and they were twice the price there.

Very good sneaker! The only complaint is these black shoelaces are thin compared to the same shoe in white. (those laces were thicker) One other comment. the back arch/heel support always wears out first on Air Monarch lV's . (hole which creates blisters)

This is my fourth pair. I wear them whenever I can, except for business and dress.

Uncomfortable. Old shoes were 101/2 and these were 11. Too small

Seems like a good, comfortable shoe with strong support; however, fully a half-size too small in length, and also too narrow (despite being marked 4-E), compared to usual athletic shoes. Reminded me of why (one reason, at least) I stopped buying Nike many years ago

Very nice and very comfortable. If they start squeaking, take out the inner sole liner-spread a little talcum or baby powder inside the shoe--then reinstall the foot liner. The squeak will disappear immediately. Not my idea but from a previous customer.

Nike Monarchs are always comfortable on my feet. I have tried others and they hurt my feet the Monarchs are good shoes !

I have always liked this shoe - the availability of an extra wide width is critical to me.

Love the shoe. A comfy dad shoe. That said I wear a 13 and felt like these fit like a 12.75 of that makes sense. A little shorter than I would’ve preferred. I also have a narrow foot and these fit perfectly on width so a normal foot or wide footer would definitely need the wide option.

Good lookinbg shoe. Padded and true to size.
