Customer Reviews Nike Air Monarch IV

For a decade this was my go to casual shoe. The last two pair I purchased squeak when you walk. I do not know what changed, but something obviously did, and I am very disappointed. I won't be purchasing another pair.

These are not the prettiest shoe out there. But the quality and comfort are good.

Kinda ugly shoes .... lol. But quality and fit are great

This is my husband's "go to" sneaker. He loves the fit, wears them all the time, finds them comfortable and has several pair in different "colors". The only problem is just about every pair squeaks when walking on tile. He loves them more than the squeak annoys him. He has an old pair for yard work, a work pair, a casual pair and a "nice" pair. LOL

Have wore this brand before but this felt way much narrow and smaller

The soles of the shoes have an issue where after the first few days of wearing them, they began making an insanely loud squeaking noise. This is to the point where I am going to have to toss these shoes as when I walk into any room, especially with tiles, heads turn to see what the noise is. Beyond that the shoes are great, but only if you want shoes that alert everyone to your presence like a cartoon character would.

These are "SQUEAKERS", NOT Sneakers!! I've bought them because of the comfort and value, but these squeak when you walk. I have three pair, and each pair squeak. My other tennis shoes don't squeak, but these things sound like clown shoes! I did some research recently, and the squeaking is VERY common with the Nike Monarch shoes. Other people have commented as well. I've tried putting baby powder in them, lifting insert, and that works for a day.. then back to squeaking! This isn't a mild squeak, but loud enough from people 10' away to hear!

I have owned two pairs if this shoe before. They were comfortable, but this pair is not. After 15 minutes I had to take them off. The right shoe felt narrower than the left, but neither shoe was very comfortable.

I gifted these, and he loves them!

I’ve been ordering the Nike monarch for years. I have to save the white shoe with the silver swish is the best made. I’m pretty disappointed about the black one doesn’t feel as comfortable as the white one. Just thought I’d share.
