I loved these shoes. Comfortable soles & toebox, look cool and super supportive. But why oh why is there a big, rigid tongue that digs into the top of my ankle when I flex my foot. Ouch! I'm so sad to return these, but I can't wear them. High hopes dashed- sad face.

These are the most comfortable Birkenstocks I own. I’ve bought several pairs. I am not a chef or hospital worker but I figured if you can stand in them all day working they would work for me and I was right the non slide bottoms are great because i am70 and fall sometimes fits the least bit slippery so I have not had any trouble with that in these shoes for which I am grateful. The fact they are water resistant is great for travel with loads of walking because getting caught in a rain shower is not a problem. I bought them for a trip to Europe and am so glad I did. I hope they come up with more colors because this is an awesome shoe. I could use a few more!

I liked the length, but these are wide width and meant the heel slipped and wasn’t secure even with the adjustable strap on the narrowest setting.

First-time Birkenstock shoe purchase. Avoided the "caveman" shoes all this time. Was pleasantly surprised by the supportive feel (no "bounce" or rebound from extra padding. Def like the leather uppers and my custom orthotics fit just fine. It takes a little bit to break them in due to the firmness of the new leather so keep that in mind. Happy with the purchase. Will look for them on sale since these are a bit pricey. Nice work, Birkenstock! Thank you, Zappos!

The shoe itself felt great with the support it provided; however, the top of the tongue of the shoe dug into my front ankle. I was very disappointed. Loved the shoes otherwise.

Could not get my foot in them. The top part is too high and not stretchy enough for high arch feet. Had to return them. They looked very comfortable and well made.

Too stiff tonged dug into top of ankle very sharp like it needed padding.

Loved this shoe…wish it fit like a Bend Sneaker. Sizing way off…much shorter than standard 41 and wide which I knew, but hoped would work given the buckle. Would love this style with proper fitting. Tongue also hits the front ankle at the bend. Shoe overall has very good structure and style.

The front top cuts into the place where your foot joins your leg, apparently they somehow got human feet proportions wrong; not soft at all and too heavy. I'd love to have this style, but the quality is all wrong..

I bought a pair of Birkenstock slipper in 6, it fits perfect; however the Caris Pro in size 6 is too big. Size are not accurate. I’m reordering a size five, hopefully it is true to size.

I wanted to love these, because I have had the Boston Clogs forever. Unlike the Boston, the tongue is rigid and cannot be softened by working the leather. It comes up to the same spot as the Boston, but the extra padding adds stiffness.

Unfortunately, these did not work for me. I have a narrow, long foot, typically wear a women’s US9. They felt like clown shoes on me. Seem like good quality for hospitality or health care but just a horrible fit for me. Quite heavy too.
